I'm sure this changes all the time. But right now I find that VR16 Mats and improvement items like tempers and resins are the only things I seem to sale and are a pain to continually farm. Is there any gold in potions, food or drinks? I would assume that rare items are worth selling if you have or don't need them. hoping that I can put these crafting skills I spent time and skill points on to some good use!

glass fragments sell pretty quickly for me. berev juice sells about 200g per and you could also sell trophies from IC. most go for about 200g, but monster teeth still sell for 500g per

food and drinks aren't very profitable in my opinion I mean blue food on NA xbox 1 generally go for 8000 a stack generally for the v15 stuff. the purple foods go for round 500 per food. but to me that doesn't seem very efficient because once someone buys a stack of 100 they will be set for quite some time. If potions best to make the Ambrosias those are decant. Personally I do rather enjoy grinding the sewers with 1k stones so I can come back with 2.6k stones after a circle and be happy. though it is a bit risky when you gather the materials it can make somewhat of a profit. going rate I use is 160 per material for it. will it make me rich? probably not but it will make me enough so I can enchant my v16 gear and keep my repair/ food costs down.

EDIT: I also find that being an armor crafter makes a lot more than anything. In my guild it costs 5-10k(depending on the person) to have someone make gear for you for a set if you provide the materials(unless it is v16 because its like a congrats you made it gear so that is the 1 time free option.) so being given all the materials to make a set of armor and making 5-10k(again depending on the person) just for making a set is pretty nice. and fast money right there.

So in the end I say if you want to make money spend some time researching and make armor for a guild. Most good guilds will have a general set rule on pricing for these things.

Welcome to the ESO economy in 2016. Since all of the desirable pieces of equipment or BoP, the only way to make gold is to farm mats, tempers, tv stones, etc. There are a handful of sets like the Lich for example that still go for a lot of gold, but it is a very niche market. I honestly cant fathom why anyone would pay big gold for that set, but that's a different thread I suppose.

Crafting can net a bit of gold, but the problem is that virtually everyone is an 8-9 trait crafter these days. Even if I get a 5-10k tip, a crafting order always ends up taking 30 minutes or so from start to finish so it is barely worth my time.

I make my gold by doing writs (about 15-20 a day) and selling the mats that they generate. The writs themselves generate about 10-13k a day depending on how many I do, and I usually am able to sell a few ambrosia fragments, 4-5 Kutas, and 4-5 Temp Alloys each week. (I usually don't sell wax or rosin). Again it's not a ton of gold, but for 20 minutes a day it nets probably 100-150k each week. Its enough to where I dont need to worry too much about gold. The downside is that it takes a few alts to do that many writs.

My characters are only levels 26 and 29 so I don't have access to a lot of the fancy big selling items, but I sell all the enchanting glyphs I across for 100g and they do sell. I also sell all the plants I come across for 100g or my guild's current going price (for example columbine sells for 1000g). If I do come across the rare legendary level items they do sell for a lot (I sold a kuta for 12k). So nothing big or fancy but I make enough for now.
