Questions about Werewolf

Hey, just picked up werewolf on a toon, and it’s the first time I’ve tried it. Just had a few questions:

1) When you transform into werewolf your weapon(s) disappear. Do their effects/traits/passives still apply? Hypothetical situation: if I was using DW with Precise Maelstrom Daggers, and then transform into WW do I still have the following…
A )The additional 84 weapon damage per dagger?
B )The 3.5% weapon crit per dagger (precise trait)
C )My weapons tooltip damage
D )The 10% crit from Twin Blade & Blunt (and other DW passives)

2) If I was using 1H1S and transformed with a sword with weapon damage enchant would I keep
A )Would the weapon enchant proc on light attacks?
B )Would I keep the armor rating from my shield?
C )Would I have the passives from 1H1S skill line?

3) If I had a greatsword equipped and had CP in Blade Expert, and then transformed into WW. Would my light and heavy attacks in WW benefit from the CP increase to LA/HA damage?

Any input is much appreciated

This is great info. Thanks man.

    Last questions:

1)Do you get a flat amount of increased Stamina in form, or is it a percentage increase?

    2) "You get armor passives." This includes Molag Kena procs and Essence Thief procs etc.?

    1) somewhere in the 18% increase give or take racial passives
    2) You get armor passives such as skill line passives for light, medium, and heavy. You do also keep your set bonuses such as kena and essence Thief.

    Happy hunting!

Hi! Very great info for any werewolf! Thanks. I have a questions too. Why Brutal Pounce damage is sad? When I play in common locations or public dungeons I have many abilities for increasing my werewolf timer. Pack leader 2 sec for each started heavy attack and passive +3 sec for being hitted. Need I this 1 sec for Feral Pounce? I every time leaving some bodies for later. I think I need more damage to compensate my not Berserker form.

Second question. Will Rousing Roar affect me too? Any advices for other morphs? What about Hircine's Bounty morph? Only Rage? Is Howl of Despair only for the pack? Will Claws of Life better for me as a PvE player?

    Thanks.

Very informative post, just one clarification, the regen mentioned above is stamina-only as far as i know.

    @Alexium

Still kind of new to WW, but I think I can answer all your questions. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Feral pounce is 1sec additional time at Skill level 1, but scales up to 4 sec additional time at level IV, which is very helpful. Also Brutal Pounce seems pretty weak. Hypothetically, if Feral pounce does 5k single target damage, it appears brutal pounce does half (2.5k) to the target and to surrounding enemies. Feral just seems like the obvious choice.

    Rousing roar affects you too.

I've heard that Hircine's rage is typically preferred as the heal over time isnt that great on Fortitude. But you probably can go either way.

Howl of despair is a synergy for allies only. And does not appear to be all that great, and very situational. Howl of agony seems like a no brainer, since the fear/agony combo is very strong.

Claws of life IMO would be the best morph for PVE. There are not too many times, if any, that a heal de buff is needed in PVE. However, The AoE heal de buff seems very powerful in PVP.

I have to check in-game to be absolutely sure(at work atm) but i am fairly certain that brutal pounce does half the damage of feral pounce to the primary target, and then half of the damage of feral pounce to the primary target and surrounding enemies.

Meaning, where feral pounce would do 5K damage to primary target only, brutal pounce does 2.5K damage to primary target, then 2.5K to primary target again(so 5k total) and 2.5k to surrounding targets.

So the damage the two morphs do to your primary tagret is the same, they only differ in that feral adds timer and brutal adds half of the damage(that primary took) as aoe.
