DOTs, AOEs, Debuffs seem a little wonky with monster sets

So, as we all know some AOE's count as DOTs, Caltrops, Puncturing sweeps ect (which is wonky all on its own and needs addressed)
But did you know Skoria procs off of debuffs and taunts aswell?
Not sure who dropped the ball on Skoria procing off Puncture and inner fire and wrecking blows knock dowh and mark (Mark is rumored and not tested by myself and reliable friends but after watching it proc on wrecking blow I figured I would include it)
A friend got the set as a tank and thought he'd try it out with scorching flare. We quickly learned any debuff or taunt or other such thing would proc skoria.
I really was't gonna bother reporting but hearing about the new champion tree increasing dot damage, I figured things like wrecking blow don't need another damage buff due to bad skill flags. Thanks.
Oh and this was on PS4 if that matters with a templar tank.

✭✭✭I've run with Valkyn on all of my toons. I can say that, a while back, I did see it proc off of "Mark Target". But I believe it has since been fixed. Valkyn will proc off of Inner Fire (which is a DOT)- I've never heard of it proccing off of wrecking blow. But also remember this: Valkyn will proccess off of a weapon's enchantment...
So if someone has a 2H weapon with a fire/poison enchant and does a Wrecking Blow, weaves a light attack, and Wrecking Blows again... Valkyn might have procced off of the light attack (since it may have caused "burning")
Also: In the PTS patch notes- they recently discovered that Valkyn was proccing off of some debuffs- so they adjusted it. I don't think you'll see it proccing off "Mark Target" any more.
But definitely get Valkyn... it's just a kick-ass set now that it's set back to its former glory. It's on par with Nerien'eth but "weaker" than Kena. (But you don't have any loss to resources)Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.
