Having a hard time finding a dungeon group whilst leveling..

For example, Darkshade Caverns.

Deshaan zone-chat is flooded with "PLEDGE PLEDGE PLEDGE LFM PLEDGE SILVER GOLD SILVER GOLD LFM PLEDGE.."....(you get the idea)

Group finder has done nothing for me. I have tried as a tank..healer...dps..I can sit in the "Any dungeon" queue for 2 hours and I get no results.

And people just don't seem to do these low level dungeons.

What is better, though, is make some friends and practice together. A coordinated group who enjoys playing together is vastly better than pugging (pug = pick up group)

Group finder only works for the pledge of the day. Not a feature that is used for running a set dungeon to farm it. When I was after my final helm Mephala I tried to queue for it whilst working from home. Put it this way 7hrs in the queue and not one hit for vet fungal grotto lol.

If you're using a group finder, do not port, zone, or go through any loading screens.
In the UI, anytime you do this, the queue starts over.

Also, it's based on participation and peak times.
Let's say you queued for 2 hours, but technically only queued no more tha 5 - 10 mins as it reset many times during your 2 hour wait.

Me too. I've been in queue for yesterdays pledge for over 4 hours as DPS. lol yeah I guess I should abandon it.

I find some days the queue will take 15 minutes for me. Usually it is about a 2+ hour queue and I leave the queue after 2 hours. I'm used to dps queues being slow from other games but this is a bit crazy.

I actually decided to queue for normal WGT the other day (as healer) and got into a very nice group after about 10-15 minutes.

One of our DPS left at the first boss (they were only level 10 and probably hadn't done many dungeons yet, so that was a bit overwhelming), we got a replacement pretty much right away and had a nice run. The 2 DPS had never been there, so the tank and I gave them a quick overview of each fight and we had a pretty good run.
