Feedback about vMSA

Hi, I'd like to share some feedback regarding vMSA.

I think it's mostly great solo content, and this isn't a L2P thread because I run vMSA regularly with 3 of my characters (soon to be 4)

It seems to me that vMSA is only doable by play styles and builds that produce as much damage as possible with just enough self healing to get by.
This happens to be my play style anyway so it's not an issue for me, but it must be an issue for people who like to play tanky heavy armored builds or stealthy nightblades. As skilled as they may be, I don't think they could complete it
There are too many DPS checks to allow slower and safer play styles.

I think that one of the main reasons for this is that you can't always control mob spawns within a certain round

Just one example to that would be stage 6 round 3 and round 4 where there's a miniboss and if you don't dps him down real fast, some more adds spawn.

Same with stage 9 round 3 where the miniboss spawns and you have to nuke it down asap else you will get overwhelmed by the next spawn.

I think that if you made mobs spawn only after the current ones are dead it would make other play styles a little more possible.

    While I agree with you I like that it requires dps checks and healing awareness. As you put it you're running this on three different toons and given how long the game has been out a great many players have multiple types of characters. Much like SO HM essentially requires a dk tank (or an extremely organized team and a brilliant non dk tank) this environment is focused around dps and that's ok.

    That being said I would perhaps like to use this opportunity to bring up that limiting round spawning to clearing previous rounds sounds like an excellent idea for the non veteran version.

    MSA = so boring..nothing versions now. One is too easy and the other is hard with stuff that doesn't kill you through being a crap player or a good proper fight but tedious crap that pops up from the floor or last boss having an instakill you need to interrupt and a crem guard laying down a near instakill on you at the same time. Knock downs and no cc immunity at all in the arena. Arcana well from champ points doesn't work either. It's just boring and poorly designed. With crap rewards except a few which require ott farming. Should just be switched off. Once you've done it the desire to go back is very very small.
