Hello everyone.
I just bought a new PC, everything new, graffics card and all. So i enter cyro and my fps is still 15-20 in big fights.
Is there any setting i can change in the game or in general at the PC that will improve this fps issue?
Cause it kinda sucks

ATI Radeon R9 390X graffics card

is something else important for this matter?

The specs of my PC (and graphics card) are not the best, but what I do know is, the more spells are flying around onscreen, the more drops the fps. For me, it already drops a lot when I try to run world bosses in Wrothgar, too many people in one place casting spells.

yeah thats about it, but aint there anything we can "tick" in any PC options that will make things run a bit smoother?
dropping the ingame graffics is out of the question ^^

Not that I'm aware of... and I'm running the game in medium settings already^^

RAM? HDD or SSD?

Big fights you're gonna lag and have huge FPS drop with all eye candy on.

16G RAM and the game is running from SSD M2 technology plugged on the motherboard, no wires.

Both. The game's engine is old and not well multi-threaded. This means the game runs better with CPUs with strong cores (Intel). You have AMD CPU, which is good only in well optimized games where all the cores are used.

To make the game run better you have to decrease View Distance and the Particle settings from the Video settings. These lower CPU use.

Edit:
Your CPU is faster than an old Intel i5 2500K (4 cores) only if all the 8 cores are used (rarely):

Hey, you may have to lower View Distance to lower CPU use, but with that monster GPU you can use AMD VSR (NVIDIA has DSR) to run the game with higher resolution than your monitor supports. This makes the game look better.

My game was to the point I could barely stand to play, constant fps drops to 10 everywhere. Changed a few things following this guys post and it fixed most of my problems maybe it will help you out too.

FPS = Client side.

Your PC has not enough stuff.
I don't know what that stuff is, but your pc doesn't have enough ;3

Reduce your view distance to 35-40, this helps a lot with fps drops.

This is mostly, but not entirely true. It was documented a few days/weeks ago the TESO isn't filling using all of the available resources. Core 2 doesn't start getting used until Core 1 is taxed, etc. Same with GPUs. The game still isn't optimized for sending the information and using the clients resources. Although, there's a number of user-enabled changes that can mitigate this weakness. Also, lagging in Cyrodil is normal. The devs know and are working on this.

I tried every single thing this thread suggests on the matter. Not only it didnt help but some changes even made things worst.

general graffics dropped from ultra high to high
view distance: 37
particle supression: 50
maximum particles: 1028

no change whatsoever in my FPS. still running cyro with 15-20. if the fight is too big it even goes down to 12-13

I'm kinda frustrated by this now because I feel there is nothing I can do to fix or improve it not even a little bit. If this is a game thing and its the servers and zenimax to blame then there aint much to do anyway. But if there is something i can change then I would certainly appreciate any and all suggestions.
