What's best for a 2h weapon?

Working a build for burst damage, either one shot of quick deaths.

What's the best 2h weapon? My weapon critical is at 73.2 with a precise axe currently. I realize I would lose some critical by going sharpened but would that deal more damage overall?

I usually run sword but have been testing with an axe. What would you suggest for a pvp build that's looking for high damage output quickly.

About to build my second vet 16 set and any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't think axe would work all that well.

If you want to keep running high crit, you can go precise greatsword for higher overall damage. A sharpened maul is really good too since it ignores 34% armor

with disease enchant if you're PVPing. Hit them in the armour and self heals. Plus there's nothing like beating their heads in with a sledgehammer to demoralise the enemy

You don't usually need to maximize against low armor opponents so choosing stuff that will maximize against them is like, so what? The goal is to take down high armor opponents faster so going for the maul to ignore armor makes a lot of sense.

either go maul or greatsword. Maul will give you armor penetration for more damage that isn't negated by armor. Greatswords give more max dmg so higher numbers you can potentially hit.
