The warlock set is similar to this set.

Why not just go with a craftable set that offers very good recovery as well.

This. Maybe having friends to help you grind it and won't mind giving you the items through tradeoffs/what not would help it go better too.

I farmed a good 200-300 Cyrodiil dolmens for this and got absolutely nothing (I got a VR7 crown by accident during leveling, but I don't count that). You need to be in a big guild of people who are happy to drop everything and come and face the general when the Seducers/Lich of Mournhold drops, and are trustworthy enough for you to work out a deal to get it off them if they get a drop. You're bound to get a huge pile of the Draugr's Heritage set though, as it drops from oh so many generals...

I did many of them, around 1700, before I got full set. Best to run in a little group of about 3, start at Nikel, hit Great Forest, ride south, hit Greenmead, go to Roebeck, jump to Sejanus, ride south and hit Niben Basin, North, hit Eastern shore, go Blue Road, jump to Nikel. Rinse repeat, you can do this circle in 10 min flat, dolmens have a 10 min Cooldown so just keep going until you have everything or have gone mad.. (or both) it's a great set and don't regret spending a few weeks getting it.
Edit: you'll pick up more siege engines you can ever hope to use as well..

You guys clearly don't have this set. The Lich Set is an awesome set.

Limitless Magicka for 20 Seconds? If you manage the proc and your potions correctly, you can run around Cyrodiil healing for hours without every running out of Magicka.

As far as tips for farming it:

1. Get a group - The spawn rate of the 2 bosses that drop the pieces is small, so when you get one to spawn, you will want multiple chances for the drop. With a group of 8, you could potentially get the entire set in 2 spawns, assuming those in your group are willing to give/sell the drops to you.

2. Use a buff server - You will want to farm dolmens on a buff server for obvious reasons.

3. Find a loop to run - I usually run the Applewatch, Bruma and Northwestern Shore dolmens in a loop. The next dolmen will usually spawn shortly after arriving, eliminating wait time. Put rapids on your bar.

4. Buy the last piece or two - You can farm for days, but if you have the gold, just buy that last piece or two you need. It is easier to farm the gold needed than the pieces themselves.

I just started farming the other day and I run between Applewatch, Bruma, and Winter's Reach. Each one spawns as soon as I arrive. I was lucky and got Dylora's Staff on my 10th dolmen but no luck since then. Other than running back and forth between 3 dolmens you are at the mercy of RNGesus. However and I know this is not true and some people still believe it is but if you leave all pinions up and kill every last enemy before closing them you will have a better boss chance. Again I don't 100% believe this to be true but when I tried it that is when the Seductive Sisters spawned for me. It was most likely just a lucky coincidence but I have been doing it that way ever since. My last piece of advice is don't give up and you will get what you need. Good Luck and Happy Hunting

The staff is pretty cool looking and I have heard the set traits are pretty good. I personally am keeping the staff as a trophy in hopes of displaying it when player housing comes out. But I will sell it for the right price. Other than that I dont really have a healer so I don't need the staff and i personally don't know how good the set truly is.

Good news from the Patch 2.3.3 if you are still grinding for your Lich set, like me

Imagine if your purge-bot could switch to cleanse and be a cleanse bot.(Not your's per say, just an example)

You can also run lich with kena 2 pc if I'm not mistaken


If your altmer sorc is at, say, 1700 recovery, with no potion, procs lich, drinks potion, that's something like 3k+ recovery, that allows you to reposition with bolt escape, proc your kena and burst

Next patch include 5 alchemist with 2 kena 5 lich and you should be able to get nasty burst + tons of sustain.

mmmmmm, the Cheetos

Aren't they making the dolmen bosses always drop a set piece in the next update? I would wait until then to farm so you only need to get the boss itself and not gamble with the boss dropping a piece.
