What is classified as weapon attacks?

is it light or heavy attacks only? Is it melee hits only? Is it any weapon line skill? Please help me out here it is confusing me.

I asked this myself and if I remember correctly the reply was anything with a range of 8m or less, including gap closers and bow attacks. At least that's what I was told

Misread the topics, what I stated was what a melee attack is considered .

What skill are you talking about?
I'd assume it's light and heavy attacks.

Weapon attacks in which context? As far as I remember the "way of fire" set procced on light and heavy attacks aswell as weapon skills, but I'm not sure if thats the case in all situations were weapon attacks are mentioned.
