How does your game run in pvp?

My game runs like total crap 16% and 15% gpu usage while getting 26 fps :/. I tried all different drivers (older and new) nothing changes.

The infinite loading screens they where meant to fix months ago still happens, how does zos get away with this? Please share how your game runs.

Not great, but surprisingly not as bad as that either, maybe a list of addons up, as well as the video settings? I've got no idea how but my settings look higher than that with 3.10 4440k 750ti and 8 gb of 1600 fps is 40 at worst and 60+ while not at a keep (I would be more specific but I turned my counter off because it just depresses me.)

Also have you changed anything in your user settings file, I can't remember specifically what I changed but I remember after doing it I had to set the file (and only the file) to read only.

1920x1080 max settings. Not in combat running around cyrodil it is around 40fps. 100fps in some places it is not very consistent . But when combat heavy like zerg vs zerg it is just terrible. The screenshot i took was just after a 24v24 ish

I feel like such a fool, its been a long day and I didn't even expand the screenshot. Just by disabling AA and turning down shadows you should see a substantial difference, but I'm sure you already know that. :P

though like @imredneckson already said, there isn't a nice way to describe Cyrodiil performance for anyone really.

Not great, but it's playable. I get as low as 20 FPS in the large siege battles in Cyrodiil. Latency is all over the place but that's just due to the server being bombarded.

    Running a 4670K at 4.2Ghz with a GTX 980 at 1376Mhz

The game runs fine in general. FPS is above 60 in most cases during PvP, and above 100 in PvE. It's just large battles in Cyrodiil where things really slow down. It's understandable given how much is going on, and the number of players on screen.

Maybe the 64-bit client and DX11 support being released with the Thieves Guild DLC will help us out a bit.

The majority of the time ESO runs very nicely @ 2560x1080 & all the graphics settings on utlra or high. i7-5700hq / 32Gb RAM / GTX980. Usually getting between 40-100FPS.... but..... occasionally it will suddenly drop to 10FPS & become a slideshow. So far, only exitting the game & restarting fixes this for me reliably. Very occasionally... it just comes good by itself & I get my regular frame rate back.

This usually happens in Cyrodiil.. but it's really not common... perhaps one game session per week it might happen.

I'd guess that in your case it may be an issue caused by the client being 32bit, as it can only use that limited amount of RAM. I run mine with the below specs and it still does the same thing as yours:

    -Intel i5 4670K
    -SLI Nvidia GTX 970 (overclocked)
    -24GB RAM
-Running at 1920x1080/2560x1080 (same issues with both resolutions)
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Graphically wise, not bad. CPU performance, not bad at all. Connection wise, often a constant struggle. Though to be honest, I thing the lag helps me sometimes, more than a few times I've WB'd someone from stealth and during a random lag spike they move but my WB still hits them......

My game runs fine in pvp until the blob of aoe spammers show up to lag the campaign, that's when the server starts to puke. I have had some huge battles with little to no lag when all three factions were not balled up aoe spammers.

I run a i7 4790k and GTX 980 and most of the times it runs like garbage, staying near 30fps in battles and slightly dipping below that in huge zerg keep battles. While these frame rates might be "acceptable" in terms of playability (heck, most console games are 30 FPS locked) it is not acceptable for a PC performance, especially with high specs.
I am hoping the new 64bit, dx11-only client will help solve some of the issues and make the game run a bit smoother.

Anywhere outside Cyrodiil I get steady 60+ FPS.

Note, this is with particles and distance turned all the way to the minimum and it doesn't really change anything, problem seems to be poor optimisation full-stop, and judging from some of the console posts in the past, the issue is not limited to PC only.

It all depends on the situation in PVP. There are times that the game runs great with all my addons still running and then other times when it runs like crap until I turn MM off. My FPS usually is 40+ unless MM is affecting it. The biggest problem I have in PVP is when my ping goes red and shoots up. Then the lag gets me more than any FPS drop.

How much RAM does your rig have? Not that it makes a big difference now without the 64Bit client.

Also if your not running the game on a SSD, give that a try as it does really help, especially for the loading screens.

Is that in large battles? What is the frame rate when you are wandering around a part of Cyrodiil with very few players?

26 fps in large keep battles is pretty good, actually! Even the most high end rigs seem to deliver around 30-40fps in those situations at 1080p, highest settings. Anything weaker, like my crap PC, fares much worse.

Examples recorded by @sirrmattus with 980Ti and i7-5820K:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA5v5Bn6MS8

In my case, I get 30-40 fps only when very few players are around or low pop campaign, and then in large battles it drops to 10-15fps, sometimes below 10. This is on lowest settings at 720p or even 800x480 resolution. When testing the 64-bit client, I noticed it still drops, but almost immediately goes back up, no longer need to restart the game or /reloadui to fix it. I'd kill for 1080p 30 fps in large battles :p - 30-40fps looks so much smoother than my experience, judging by the videos above.
