You can also run around Cyrodiil with no armor and no weapons. You can be a full stamina build that wears the best magicka armor set because it looks cool.

The one beauty of the "play your own way" context is that the single-player material in ESO is certainly doable in just about any fashion one sees fit. Magicka Templar in medium armor? Sure. Why not? ✭✭✭✭✭Reroll seems pretty popular, so I told him to reroll. He's making a DK now apparently. While all of this is actually true, there's a good point behind it. Compared to other play styles, how often do you see a stam sorc? My guess is not very much. Because they are obviously ridiculous, yet received no buffs in this update. My question to you @Wrobel, is, why?
I know you'll probably say something like "We couldn't fit everything in", and I understand that, but surely you can see stam sorcs aren't performing as well as other classes yet you chose not to give them any love this patch. This is what I don't understand.2 -

I in no way mean to belittle anyone who chooses to play the way they want, but I quite honestly don't understand the logic behind Stam Sorc. A Sorc IS magic. Magic is where any Sorc gets its power. Stamina doesn't make sense in my mind whatsoever.
I mean, sincerely, enlighten me on how this makes any sense. I just don't get it. Stamina, is for physical power. Mage (which is exactly what a Sorc is) derives from Magic. How on earth can a Magic powered being use their powers using stamina?

Every class was 100 percent magicka driven at games release. If sorc is magicka only, what is the stam only class? Why do you associate sorc with just magicka? You know an elder scrolls sorc traditionally uses melee weapons and heavy armor, right? It is completely logical because Elder Scrolls is not traditional fantasy. In traditional fantasy a Sorcerer is a magic user, however in Elder Scrolls lore Sorcerers are a combination of Warrior/mage. In previous games they could only regen magic by absorbing spells and they walked around in heavy armor with a big ass weapon. Stop trying to change Elder Scrolls to be like the normal boring fantasy, it's fun because it's different.
Stamina Sorc needs lots of adjustments and it's BS ZOS ignored them.7 -

Shelgon✭✭✭✭Idk, theres more than one side to this dilemma. They did say you can do whatever you want in this game, which is true, but what is also true, like someone stated before is that it won't always be effective, efficient, or viable as a whole. Then comes in the side of whether or not they should give love to everything in this game, you'd be appealing to so many different categories and subcategories of class specs, it can potentially make or break the game (hurr durr game is already broken lolol ex dee).
Because of the effectiveness of wrecking blow, and passives that stam sorcs can utilize, they can still be viable in pvp, and thats more than a 3 medium, 3 light, 1 heavy, endurance set hybrid templar with 2h and resto staff can say. The point I'm getting at is that ZOS, IMO, should not "give love" to certain class specs, because at a certain point we will reach an equilibrium, where no matter what you play it will be viable, and I don't think that's right.
I'm not saying don't give love to stam sorcs, every class can have a stam version and be just as good if not better than stam sorc, so they should get a chance too, but what I AM saying is, even with some of the imbalances of stamina and magicka, hybrids and min maxes, we STILL have a larger variety of effective class specs than a majority of other MMORPGs can say they have. Most of them don't even allow you to use a different weapon because of your class. I for one, definitely appreciate the variety we have now, we need tweaks no doubt, but maybe some class specs aren't meant to be, not saying stam sorc specifically, just food for thought.V16 Templar - Shelgon - DC

Same goes for you. My point, unkind people of the internet, is that spells are magic based, weapons are physical aka stamina. So no, in my mind it doesn't make sense that any spells you cast as a sorc would be stamina. That certainly doesn't mean I have a limited imagination. Common sense tells me this is off.
