Like ZOS used too, with fishing and working on emotes n what not.

I would love to see 1st person mount riding like Oblivion had. That would be awesome : )

I feel swords, axes and shields should be made to look more big and awesome in first person, like TES has always had it.
In ESO they all just seem small and dainty, alot of detail is lost imo.

Some emotes need some attention, read, write and other emotes should show in first person I think, There is alot of emotes I love but only show in 3rd person : (

I feel alot of actions I do force me into 3rd person, sometimes just for a sec others permanently. ZOS used to work on this and O hope they carry on.

1st person does feel like the poor relation sometimes, but I for one am glad that ESO at least supports it, as I struggle with 3rd person only games.

Please never drop 1st person support from TES games! :o

First person horse riding IS technically in the game, I do not know why they dont just allow the view to be used all the time. If you get close enough to a wall or something and rotate the camera, you will go into first person horse mode, like it was in oblivion, but if you move away, it just pops out of first person mode. Stupid really.

    1. First person horse riding, which is already in-game and just needs to be polished.

    2. Updating a few abilities in first person so they don't ruin the screen (Expert Hunter, Siphoning Strikes, Grim focus, Molten Armaments). Some look HORRIBLE when stacked with each other and especially with a 2-Hander or Bow

Besides this I love 1st person right now, although I don't use it very often.

I use 1st person mode when adventuring, because it provides the most immersion to me, and 3rd person when moving from A to B. I switch between both modes quite often - as in several times per minute - dependent on "what feels right" to my game play. I am quite happy that there is 1st person mode in ESO, it makes it so much better than with just 3rd person.

I have to agree with @Doncellius, that some of the spell effects can be quite annoying in 1st person mode, like when doing a dodge roll the sides of the screen start to glow greenish (this is not immersive at all, in 3rd person my feet glow in this way, so why do I have this in my view in 1st person as if this effect would be left and right of my head?). I guess this is meant to give feedback of what is currently active, but it is more annoying than helpful, I am quite capable to remember what I did a few seconds earlier, I do not need this kind of immersion breaking feedback.

I play almost all the time in first person. Only times I use third person is when fishing, in some rare epic quests where several people are talking or almost daily when game bugs when I use wayshrine and can't go back to first person. Could someone please fix that already. Luckily using wayshrine again fixes it.
I'd like combat have bit more weight in it like in Skyrim but it is good enough.

It's funny because 3rd person use to get the short end of TES games...

Consoles are rocking the boat man, at least it's an MMO so I prefer 3rd person myself.

I found that this bug is less often happening, if you ensure to use the wayshrine in 1st person mode - if you invoke it in 3rd person it might get messy and you might not be able to switch back to 1st person, when you arrive.

What level are you? In my opinion v16 weapons are big enough, but I realized that lower level weapons are much smaller. When dual wielding a low level sword and a high level dagger, the dagger will be longer than the sword.
