How to recognize DK with a reflection ability

Sometimes I go behind enemy lines for raiding, hide and attach an unsuspecting enemy, and they turn out to be Dragon knights with a reflection. Is there any way to recognize a DK before attacking? Maybe I can switch to a lightning staff for channeling heavy attack or something.

If he is using dragon scale you will see when he casts it 2 wings that kinda engulf him and then he has an orange like shield infront of him...

Well, they tend to reflect after the fight begins. Can you give us an example of the most common buffs used by people depending on reflection?

Dragon Fire Scales, it's literally wings engulfing him. You can't possibly not see it.

There is also a reflect in the 1h/shield line, but it is much harder to spot. Nothing else.

What I meant was, this happens after the fight begins. Is there any way we can tell its a dragon knight while I am still hidden? He said there are buffs and I was asking about them.

I don't know how the UI on consoles look. Isn't there a small class symbol under the enemies' health bar, next to the name?

DFS is one of those buffs. It lasts for 4 seconds, so you will see the animation either before you engage or during the fight. There are also some "signature" skills for a DK... breathing fire, an armor buff that is visualized by spikes on the body... those things.

So you want to make sure you gank only Templars because the rest could be capable of fighting back ;)

Common skills people use out of combat are:
    - spiked armour for dks
    - hardened ward, lightning form. streak for sorcs
    - double take, merciless resolve, cloak for nbs
    - rune focus, purifying ritual for templars

But depending on the situation you can't allways tell the class of an enemy before you attack him on console. On PC there would be addons that show a class icon next to the name.

I wanna switch to a lightning destruction staff if he/she is a reflecting DK, you cant do it once you are in combat, or in mortal kombat :)

After they flap their wings, you'll see an orange shield in front of their body like this
