I assume he/she is a streamer/YouTube'r.
I wish people could form their own opinions without having to use someone else's thoughts.
I love ESO, and that's why I don't watch it on twitch or YouTube (well, we've all used YouTube for treasure maps).
Streamers do ruin games for a lot of people unfortunately, needless to say it is NOT their intention to do so, but it is true. People should just play the game and be happy we have such an open and diverse world, without the opinions of a few polluting the forum.
I'm sorry if I offend anyone by saying this, but it's just how I feel from seeing the forums lately.
@Oldmanlawlor
um. i think wrobel is the combat mechanic manager/developer at zenimax

I wanted to be a TANK! I could do without ever casting a heal period.
Templars should have been given a skill path that would allow them to tank.. If it came at the cost of never being able to cast a healing skill so be it!

Doesn't your concept of a Templar tank jive with option A? If not, why choose a Templar over anything else?

What? No, why would it? Option A sounds more like a melee DPS, while B is a range DPS. C is kind of a tanky healer, while D is sort of a heal-tank. But there is no option or a true tank, or even a pure healer build.
None of those.
I wanted to be a healer and have access to all healing spells of the game. I did many different builds using a mix of Templar, Resto Staff and Mage Guild spells. Never used the rune though and I've always been a very mobile healer.

When I made the poll, I was essentially asking about which "flavor" you like, or really which Templar skill line attracted you most. Most of the Templar tanking tools are in the Aedric Spear line. If it wasn't Aedric Spear that attracted you as a tank, then I have no idea why you would choose Templar over Dk or Nightblade.
