I find that when it comes to looting something you need, your chance of getting it will be extremely low if you expect to get it. What about you?
When I expect to loot something like certain monster set shoulders from a pledge chest, I never seem to get it, just a repeat of a pair that I've already got over 5 times in a row lol but when I don't expect it and don't think about it, I end up getting it.. I don't know, RNG shenanigans. Oh, and I've also come to the conclusion that Gold Reward Chests are unlucky, and Silver Reward Chests are lucky - simply because I've got over 10 monster shoulders from Silver chests and 1 from Gold >.<

I'm a complete hoarder so usually I'm just happy to have more junk to sell/decon. However I've been finding that I'm super unlucky when it comes to farming for the Lich set or that last blue fish to complete a zone grrr.

Oh I know what you mean yeah, it's absolutely crazy how RNG works, like... you could get the whole set in no time on your other character but on your main character you'll get nothing. ✭✭✭✭✭I heard that sacrificing a chicken sandwich to the gods of the die roll helps you get that loot drop you always hope for. Not entirely sure if it has to be free range chicken, slightly roasted or is ground chicken spread will do as well. Or if turkey is an acceptable substitute. I expect we will need a religious guild war or two to figure those out, I mean, that's how it usually works, right?

Interesting... I even did /pray in front of the gold reward chest before opening and it gave me a dagger.

Every time I harvest an aspect rune I close my eyes and say Kuta... 99% of the time it's a Ta.
Last night I killed Molag Bal 4 times real quick, got 2 good drops. Hakeijo rune and the pet
I really wanted the pet.
I wasn't going into the fight for it though.
In the past I have killed him and I was like I want the motif book or I want the rune ect.
Never got it those times.
RNG is a love / hate relationship.
