So none of the outdated trials will scale with Thieves Guild?

So we're getting a new trial that's up to date (which we still have to pay more money for) which is something, but ZOS could have probably put in a fraction of the effort it took to create it and scale up the existing (4!) trials.
DSA, AA, HR, and SO are the competitive PvE content in this game, and it is just about dead. Is it really all because craglorn isn't a DLC that you get to charge extra money for?
When can we expect the outdated content to scale up? (I hope it won't take until Dark Brotherhood).

If it's true, this has to be the result of greed, where Zenimax is unwilling to update content which isn't gated through more money. That is incredibly bad news!

✭i may be wrong here, but if i understand this correctly then once Vet Ranks are removed then won't these older trials be scaled to our level???
if this is so then we only need to wait until the Dark Brotherhood DLC arrives with the "planned" Vet Rank removal0 -

✭✭✭✭✭No, the gear drops are VR12 and VR14, none of them is VR16 even if your entire group is VR16. Trials don't scale. I believe it's because with the planned removal of veteran ranks in Q2 (june), it's just not worth the fuss. And the availability of the old gear at VR16 level would raise other balancing issues.
I for one think it's good that they don't scale. Newer players need some easier stuff to practice 12-man-raiding.Edited by anitajoneb17_ESO on February 14, 2016 10:54AM0
