Best class to grind CP?

I'm planning to start grinding some CP in preparation for the TG DLC. So far, I haven't decided which class (possibly all of them?) to grind CP with. I'd likely try some of the VR zones or Orsinium public dungeons.

Currently ~200CP. I'm interested in hearing anyone's thoughts/suggestions. Thanks!

My characters are:
DK - VR16, main (and will be main with TG)
Sorc - VR2 (have been enjoying a lot, ultimately will transition back to stam sorc once I get vigor)
Temp - VR2
NB - VR2

whichever class has the best sustain, highest speed and best AoE is the class thatw ill grind out CP faster.

Whoever it is, do it in Imperial City.

I find the magicka nb to be the fastest, personally.

The best class / spec I have found is Stam sorc, I have one just for farming hides or tel var, crit surge, boundless storm and steel tornado is just too strong.

I think it's templar or dk. They are naturally tanky in pve. So you can gather 30 mobs at once and kill without getting into trouble.

for very very large mobs (50 or more) zombie like, templar is the best xp giving.

magicka sorc - shooting star as ultimate - grinded 250CP with it
stamina NB with vigor, dont forget evil hunter - soul tethering as ultimate

I like mob grinding on Stam NB the best. Though it'll not be as good come TG with the changes to Siphoning Attacks.

Vampire mag NB or stam NB
Sap essence heals you while doing a ton of the damage.
Or steel tornado which does even more damage in a wider range plus it's an execute.
Soul harvest will give you 10 ult per mob killed, you'll have batswarm up instantly, especially if the mobs are undead or daedric (Fighters Guild Ult gain).
Siphoning Attacks will make sure you have always full resources. Just weave light attacks between the AoE ability.

Stam templar is also quite good due to Repentance.

Magicka NB for sure.

Sap Essence heals you and gives the spell dmg buff. And you can speed buff with Double Take.

I leveled chars of all classes, never grinded cps though, but that's the same in IC anyway.
Imo, magicka nb is the best choice. You heal yourself as you're killing mobs, sustain is top notch and the damage is really good.

Class doesn't matter, pick up a partner, go ic sewer blue area with zombies, learn to pull and aoe everything in 1 pack per room.
Better to do in unusual time, cause people will *** your farm.

try magika templar with this bar for an hour:
repentance, entropy any morph, reflective light, puncturing sweep, toppling charge and meteor.
reflective light is for major prophecy and reduce movement speed, i use it to group the mobs, but is also working fine as dps.
for this test respec your cp and put all into taumaturge and elfborn (at least 30 in elfborn) for the mage tree, the other do not really matter for grinding.

I've been playing a mage templar for almost a year. Just sayin'
Nb is still better for mob grinding in IC. Simply because you can just use siphoning attacks, them twisting path, then just sap essense.

I appreciate everyone's advice. I remember leveling both my magicka NB to vet ranks easily. It's been a long while since I actually played my templar (my crafter currently). I'll give both a shot and gauge the xp/hr on each. Thanks again!

any class as stam w/steel tornado. just reset toon to magika when done grinding out.

It's more about the build, usually. Templar, NB and Sorc can all be good grinders. Notice I left a class out, however. DK is horrible because there is no decent class AOE to tide you over while you level up your weapon skill. This is especially bad for Magicka DKs who have to wait until Destruction is up around 40 (or whatever) to get Impulse. At least Stam DKs get Tornado a bit sooner.

TL;DR: avoid rolling Dragonknights if you want to grind.
