How long does it take to hit level cap?

I got a 3 day weekend.

could I hit 50 by then??

Some say sure,I dont though.If you work your tail off all weekend,maybe.You might miss a lot of things along the way though.
It depends on how you play.Go to Orsinium to level faster.
Try to remember,getting to V1 isnt the end all be all. :}

Imperial City is pretty good xp wise, as is Orisinium public dungeons, very easy to solo.

Plus battlelevelling for your alts helps too.

You could hit level 50 in a day, and then go and do the main quests and the subsequent skill points to access new zones.

Depending on the OPs skills so far,and if they know how to use them well.They are talking from L1 to L50,which indicates they are just starting a new char.

50 if you power through with eso+ boost, be in a group always, and drop xp pots on zone wide clears of delves dolmens and bosses.

It's exhaustive.

Pure grinding sure. Though I don't know why anyone would do this unless they only care about PVP.

Not really, yeah many will grind to max rank for PvP, but many will grind just to hit end game for both PvE and PvP.

Depends on your playing style on my first two alts I skip alot side quest only did main level to 50 pretty fast my alt I completed everything in each zone took me about two weeks

Hmm not really, Vet Dungeons are easy, true VMA is way easier to complete at CP cap, a nightmare if you are below cap.

on a basic game, that means you have not dlc, you need 2-3 day to cap l50 and 1 day for each veteran rank.

- do only the main quest

- drink ambrosia
- grouping with one mate

there aren't anymore zone that give you 2900 xp for kill, at v10 you should be find from 400 to 600: if you grind zombie with ambrosia and a mate you should do 200.000 to 400.000 xp/h, around 100.000 alone without buff

What i do is grinding mobs in first map to the highest level possible, then collect skyshards, complete delves, dolmens and world bosses, and move on to the next map, without any boosts to xp this will take you 24-30 hours play time.

I have done a few different ways levelling my alts and my 2 cents are as follows;

I can grind from 1 - 50 (this include doing the main quest line) in 20 hours with xp pots, you can start the cold harbour main quest line at 46 and that will take you to 50. You can do this faster if always in a duo etc. And are more focused than me.

VR 1 - VR16 usually takes me about 30 more hours (including doing cadwells silver).

Or you can do all the quests etc, my last run through to get Hero of tamriel, and hero of wrothgar took me 230 hours.

Again people can probably do it faster but that is what it took me.

Nah I really enjoy the VR dungeons in ESO.

don't really play it for PvP, since Cyrodil got boring after a few months
