I feel like the majority of the Xbox population for ESO is above the age of 18.

It's Friday night, they are probably out or working haha.

Well ESO Live ended not too long ago so there were some hundred thousand watching. Prob more or so the players you expect to see watching that.

A lot is changing and so many of us were tuned in.

    Part 2
It's Valentines Day weekend so for those above 18. Might not see a lot of them unless they are single and alone.

    I won't be around Saturday

You're confusing total views with current views.

    Twitch goes <Current Viewers (In Red)>, <Lifetime total viewers>, <Follower Count>.

ESO Live usually has ~750 - 2,000 viewers.

I play Xbox NA non prime time in lower leveled areas because there are too many people running around and through and over me if I'm on at night. Trying to do even a simple resource run is an exercise in futility. I do go on at night if I want to do a dolmen or dungeon or world boss because I'm not up to doing it all myself. There are always people around...Did I just feed a troll? :/

This Azura's Star campaign had over 3500 player ranked in it.

How do I know this? I purposely killed just one player this campaign to gain one of the lowest ranks possible.

Easily, 6k+ with all campaigns in xbox PvP

Previous week on Axe of Belharza (PC), I ranked #8 in the leaderboards after about 4 hours of playing. I got a 3-10% top score reward at the end of the week.

When I started I was rank 85 on Saturday with a score of 135. So there may be about 100 players or so on that server.

Hmmm I may have viewed this wrong but when i released, in the first 90 days on PC there were 600k active subscribers.

Combining xbox one and ps4 sales but excluding PC, there are another 1.2 mil with may be a mix of new and existing customers.

100k has exceeded long ago and there are for sure at least 100k playing now....prob not on Twitch tho as pointed out earlier to me.

Sales are different than active players, though. I can give one good example for this claim. Garry's Mod, a game on Steam has reached its milestone of 10 million copies sold. http://steamcharts.com/app/4000 - As you can see based on its graphs of population you can infer that 10 million players, or even remotely close to that, do not actively play the game. Another example would be Blade and Soul. It has reached over 1 million players, but only 30K+ average still play the game. Some buy/play the game and quit shortly after, and that's a normal cycle for just about any game. ESO on PC would probably have an average of 20K-30K players who are active daily.

We all understand all of that.
The point is 600k in PC prior to ESO Plus days were actual subscribers....this exceeds 100k
Consoles sold over 1.2 mil copies the first 30 days....this exceeds 100k

Sales, offers, active threads from unique users....since April of last year.....it's def more than 100k active players collectively so all these theories and extrapolations of player base changes, growth, declined, etc don't matter because ZOS doesn't release active numbers.

For sure tho...there are way more than 100k

I think every time someone moves to the Vet Zones for the first time, they think this. Most people do their banking and crafting in main zones for their alliance. But you pop into Daggerfall for the first time as a Vet6 or so and go into the bank and it's empty. First thought is, "where did all the players go?" Well, they were never really there. Most people in the Vet zones are moving through content, not hanging out like they do in their Alliance zones.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I honestly thought the numbers were down.

I stopped playing around Sept and recently came back in Jan. I was shocked at how DEAD ESO was. But after playing for nearly a month I can say the numbers are down, but there is still a lot of people playing this game.

With ZOS adding Text Chat and capping CP I look for people to come back to ESO. I know a large number of players personally that are coming back because ZOS finally understood that not having text chat and the broken runaway CP system was a DEATH SENTANCE to this game!

I just wish it had not taken a mass exodus of the games population to actually see that MMO's NEED text chat for grouping and trading. Also the Broken CP system kept any new player from wanting to join ESO as they would NEVER be able to play on a competitive level as the rest of the community.

With all of that being said I do hope that ESO continues to grow as it really is a great game. Maybe there will be a lot more people coming back to ESO along with new players.

They wanted the game to appeal to "couch casuals" that only PvP, and that is exactly what happened. With text chat, I will be able to finally role play properly instead of just logging in to only do crafting writs.

Any vampire role playing guilds starting up on the ps4 in anticipation for text chat? I'm interested. :)
