Some quests give you choices like that.
The only one I can remember off the top of my head is on Khenarthi's Roost where you have to choose between helping a khajiit family who were making skooma in a desperate attempt to make their plantation profitable hide that fact from the Thalmor, or help the Thalmor investigator catch them.
I don't remember the dialogue making any mention of your characters race and both sides will try to persuade you to help them, but if you were playing an altmer and sided with the Thalmor throughout it could definitely come across as a racial bias.
Be a Dunmer. They are much worse than the Altmer in this game, and you can even help them keep their slaves in the EP!
Anyways, yes, you might be an Altmer, but you are also loyal to Ayrenn and her ideals, including her policy of tolerance. This is not the 4th Era's Aldmeri Dominion. There are not many openly racist Altmer under Ayrenn's rule, and most of the openly racist ones are enemies (the Veiled Heritance). Of course there are still racist Altmer, but it is hard to find a friendly Altmer npc that is openly racist (note: OPENLY racist, not just "racist". Of course there are many who just hide it to avoid trouble) because of Ayrenn's policy of tolerance.Ayrenn even kneels before one of the bosmeri leaders, come on!

Funny thing is i was planning to be loyal to her brother, what did i know what would happen to him lol.
Im stuck at helping the rock mage, her donkey enemy bodyguard hits me a bit too hard and i had a dc earlier removing me from the bunch i was traveling with so had to try soloing him, so no kneeling seen yet but thats not too much of a spoiler since its obvious in a way that the bosmer king is arrogant enough to act that way, i dont like him. If i had any aldmeri mandate i would lay waste to that whole stupid tree.

It is not the Camoran King, it is a much more pleasant person.
You see, the Bosmeri people have lots of leaders.
But yes, the game doesn't give you the option of being a "bad guy", which is why I can't understand why some people got upset that the next two DLCs are about thieving and murder, like if the whole base game plus released DLCs didn't force us into the "hero role" already (with only a few options to make "evil decisions").

Dark Brotherhood is going to be way too much fun..... If ZoS does not botches it......which may be ... 98% chance so hoping for that 2% chance to prevail.

Woah, wouldnt say bad guy, just want to be true to my aldmeri race thats all, and bosmer can stay true to theirs, no mingling, no power positions. Aldmeri superiority and they can have their place in it np.
Thats not evil, thats just the aldmeri way, we are the chosen ones to lead the thalmor, and in the end shape the world!!
Ok, the Aldmer and the Altmer are not the same, for starters, as much as some Altmer like to think they are.
The Thalmor are the ruling body and the military of the Aldmeri Dominion, but right now they don't have nearly as much power as they will have in 1000 years (Skyrim time) because the Queen still holds the most power.
And even so, the Thalmor do not function in the same way as in Skyrim. Neither do the Altmer.

First off, this isnt a joke or troll thread but a serious question as i have been forced in many quests to embrace some sort of 'multicultural' non-choice ending.
For example helping the bosmer initiates in a training camp on the aldmeri dominion, helping them wich is obviously a proper response to injustice,... ends up into the bosmer smirking about that now finally the bosmer will have more power positions..
hold on a minute.... thats not what i was doing it for..
I just wanted to help some people in need but im still an aldmer damnit, i might be a nice one but im not agreeing with bosmer power positions!!! stay in the woods bosmer!!
So thats what i mean, id like to be atleast somewhat racist for the sake of my characters origin, let me!
So again, are the quests ive been through so far representative of whats to come? Can i not be true to my high elf superiority over the really, really really small silly looking inferior bosmer?
thanks.
I know thalmor are the military of the dominion and that not all altmer are aldmeri, but my altmer alligned with the aldmeri because in his opinion it has the highest potential for absolute rule and he only aids the most powerful untill they have exhausted themselves. In a way i suppose he could be considered a psychic vampire but definatly not an evil one. Hes moreof a magnet, or a benign leech who is of great aid to those who move into power positions. He doesnt really have ambitions other than making sure those without potential do not gain allure or power whatsoever. Perhaps my altmer aldmeri can be considered 'a leveler'.
Ive met plenty of idiot altmer in the storyline, take for instance the dumbos working for the veiled queen, obviously a lost cause.. why do they even bother to follow such an entity heading straight for a wall.

Sounds like you should join the veiled herritance not the dominion >.>

Aldmer are the common ancestor of the mer. The Altmer, the Bosmer and the Khajiit (according to the most accepted theory) descend from them. That's why it is the Aldmeri Dominion, not the Altmeri Dominion. It includes the other mer who are part of it.
The Aldmeri Dominion is Ayrenn's creation. Being aligned to them means you should follow her policy of tolerance regarding Bosmer and Khajiit.
