Don't worry, I'm gonna subscribe again! I didn't realize how big of a deal it is until now. Too bad I spent all my crowns on other things.... It did get me thinking though. I play a lot and have no where near enough Rubedo to craft all V16 medium gear. Only get one single piece from deconstructing picked up items. Gold tempers are a whole different issue. Everyone has been talking about removal of Vet ranks, but that's not for another 6 months+
Can't you start making the high level mats easier to come by? Or when I'm playing my only V16 character, stop giving me so much V14 mats. Specially in areas behind a pay wall....
Oh, and can you also fix Molag Bal in the sewers. I have never even seen him there. At all. The center piece of the imperial city download has been glitched for far too long....

The thing is, I don't know if that applies to Rubedo Leather, since the mobs are all v14 in Cyrodiil.

myrrrorb14_ESO✭✭✭✭✭I don't remember getting scraps in Cyrodiil. I occasionally get equipment I can deconstruct. Orsinium is the only reliable way to get a lot of V15+ mats.
IC sewers drops a ton of equipment, but I like getting the raw for refining too :-)0 -
jcasini222ub17_ESO✭✭✭✭You still should be able to find all v16 materials on guild stores/trades with player. To my knowledge if your unsubbed or did not purchase the dlc while you wont be able to farm the mats you can still purchase and use via the in game economy.0

✭Welcome to the club.
I never had access to the IC DLC in the first place since I unsubbed for a reason (and I'm not much of a PvP player), and I had to outfit 3 VR16 stamina characters with Rubedo leather. The handful of scraps per day you get from drops in Wrothgar are not enough in the slightest, so I had to buy all mats from guild stores.. don't ask how much I had to spend..
Not much more I find of Ancestor Silk and maybe a tad more Rubedite Ores, and I had to outfit 5 VR16 light (partially heavy) magicka characters, too, and mainly bought the mats in the stores as well.... don't ask..
However the Void mats and Nightwood (VR14 mats) spawn like there's no tomorrow, or in this case, as if there wouldn't already be enough zones we can easily get those anyways: the last 3 Gold zones and Craglorn.
Same with VR10-14 Runes. I had to buy all the VR16 ones from guild stores as well... don't..... you know.
The VR16 mat drop of all kinds is beyond ridiculous if you are a PvEer without IC.

schwarzman1✭✭✭FYI, you can farm but I like to also use tv stones to buy loads of V16 mats from the vendor in the sewer base to craft V16 gear. I think it is like 50 tv stones for each mat. I easily make 1000+ tv stones a run in the sewers.
Also, Im on ps4 and haven't seen Mr Bal in awhile either. :'(

I see a lot of this and want to clarify that we've not been told that the mat progression system is going away or being removed. It's only the character vet levels. I'd like to assume NPC vet levels are going away too but no indication suggests mats are changing. If I missed something let me know please

This was on the last (one before last?) PC Patch, it may not have gotten to the consoles yet.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

There is no way to get the scraps in Cyrodiil, very rarely the ore and silk.

They haven't gone into much detail. Only vague thing I've heard is that 160cp will be the requirement for current vet 16 gear. So as long as I hit level 50, the character will then jump into the highest level gear in the game.
160cp is a very low bar to set. Not sure how usefull the other tiers will be. Even on your 1st character, you will skyrocket past the first two tiers in an hour. Should be interesting to see what they do.0 -

There is over 2000+ of each end game base mat in the guild bank man, and nobody wants it. Anybody can take it, Nobody cares, nobody needs it.

Lenikus✭✭✭✭✭If you have the skills, Rubedo leather drops from animals that drop leather, and far more often than everywhere else they drop in group dungeons. Wich, as far as i know, are not ESO+ only.

I understand your logic and people's comments but you still have to have away to determine how mats and gear items are generated from NPC's, chests, etc.
I personally would prefer they scrap the CP requirements for gear because....it wont matter...based on what exists now.
Specific to what will come, I do think there would need to be some new requirements but again...CP to me isn't where it should be.
I do think CP can contribute to driving what mats fall or that are available but then does this mean it can't apply to pre-50. Doesn't it make better sense to keep the mat progression in tact and possible use drops to elevate the mats to different levels OR just drops to improve gear which is what some groups have asked for from day 1.
I'm not sure what ZOS is doing but from what they've shared, I don't see the removal of VR to move to CP as resolving the VR problems. I'm not certain that my ideas as the solution but I'm pretty confident that VR to CP is the direction to more problems.-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

he is not and has not beed fixed on ps4. Keep hearing people say he is working but they must be on PC. I have not seen him and no one I know has seen him for weeks. Only has worked twice for me since Orsinium dropped, and that was close to a month ago. Even then it was twice in 5 tries that we went down to kill him. The top portals were even glitched for a while but at least they work now. Occasionally there will be one middle portal open but that is all0
