Really!.... Seriously!.... This is how ESO celebrates certain holidays.... Hey everyone lets celebrate by giving ZOS more $! YAY!

So much is missing in this game, like in game things to do to celebrate holidays. Oops not tryin to get the ESO lore hounds on me, but still isnt there some way we could actually celebrate by different in game things to do.

The current ones aren't too bad as Baroque inspired outfits.

once again all comments by people that have apparently never played guild wars 2, swtor, WoW, or rift cause all these games had many fun in game activities to do that were free. Especially GW2. And NO i dont care about some wedding dress, and ring of mara.

Im talking about in game fun activities.

I've played FFXIV for a bit and they do in game events where you can get unique mounts and costumes and stuff to commemorate whatever event they're celebrating. It would be nice if one day down the road they could something like in ESO. Yeah they had special items you could buy in the crown store for Halloween, but that was it. No change to the game world or npc's to recognize that hey, it's the Tamriel equivalent of Halloween!

Really all I want is a damn unicorn. I just want to be fabulous.

I played GW2 from launch until just before HoT came out. Events got BORING and it was the same stuff every year. There was never anything new to do.

The first year Halloween was fun, but after that it was carve 150 pumpkins, zerg the laborynth 100 times to get the crap in there done or farm for candy corn for the crap you could trade for. Wintersday was more of the same, make 150 snow men, etc etc.
The daily activities were just as thrilling....: eat candy corn til your character pukes, open tot bags or the gift boxes that give you useless crap, hit 3 people with snow balls, chase the gift pooping dolyak around, do that stupid play the music thing.

It was cheezy and it got boring doing the same thing every day for an entire month for 3 years in a row.

If thats the kind of events you want, no thanks. Id rather keep the game as it is. We dont need ESO to become a FOTM, carnival game.

Most MMO's have an event which has stuff both in the store, if they have one, and stuff that can be obtained by participating in events and doing daily quests during the holiday period. Only one mmo does not, and that is TESO. There you can get overpriced crownstore stuff nobody wants for 50% cheaper.

But i agree on the post above here. I rather have them working on fixing stuff, and especially the cyrodill lag and loading screens. The last "fix" only made things worse though.

It's two costumes and a marriage ring, get over it. Honestly, people need to stop whining about every little decision that ZOS makes. No sale? WHY IS THERE NO SALE!? They put something on sale, ZOS ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY$! Newsflash, you don't have to take part of any of it. Continue playing this game or any others if you'd like, no ones forcing you to stay.

And to the people who want them to focus on lag/fixes, you do know there are multiple teams at ZOS and putting things on sale on the crownstore in no way effect their workflow towards fixing the game

Thats what holidays are about, companies making money.
I agree that it would be nice if I dont know, on Christmas they would give us a free cute, little, fluffy, cuddly goat, but that is already dreaming too much... In real life (and game life) you have to pay for a goat ;___;.

I'd love to see in-game festivals etc but I'd hope ZOS would still do sales from time to time as well
