Been playing since last July and have recently reached 23rd level.
Of course having 8 characters between 18-23rd level might affect that.

I remember back in the early days right after release I would see players walking around the map, not running like the rest of us. BTW, the walk animation is actually quite nice to see. Anyway, these people were in no hurry and were just enjoying the world.

Well, last night I am bombing through Daggerfall on the way to the bank with a bunch of other players and I spy a player walking his horse, it was nice to see someone taking it slow.

I had a custom avatar of Azura in Beta but I'm pretty sure she just turned into the generic ouroboros when the game went live. I would have liked to keep Azura because she is my prince.

I guess I lost that sense when I starting spending most of my time in cyrodill and ic. I never finished silver or started gold. I purchased wrothgar and couldn't bring myself to quest but did do malestrom arena and explore a little.

I could be way off point here buy I believe the op is referring to the shoddy cast vlogger on YouTubes... During the like 2 year build up to eso this dude had me so hyped for eso it was like it was going to change my life lol... Still love the game as it's currently my game. Anyways yea I love the game and I do stop to see the roses a lot of times in new places or views

I wish those two brothers hadn't lost their joy for the game. I think if they stuck it out they would have been alright.

Well

i love to explore in games especially on Elder scrolls games.
But there is not much to explore in eso. The game never was about exploration sadly.
