Is there an intended reference to KotOR in ESO?

Maybe some of you played KotOR (Knights of the Old Republic, 2003). In one of the early quests there you fight in an arena and you are called "the mysterious stranger" during the fights. It's quite memorable in my opinion. And here in Reaper's March there is quest chain that involves fighting arenas as well and the announcer calls you the exact same name! It's very similar I think.

Of course it could be coincidence, but I thought maybe one of the devs was a fan and put this reference into ESO? Would be cool. B)

Thought of the same thing too.
If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.

Maybe... anything's possible, but it seems like a stretch.

Could also be a reference to the Mysterious Stranger in Fallout, or the novel by Mark Twain of the same name.
