Werewolf: Pack Leader or Berserker?

Here's the deal; I have a Khajiit Nightblade I want to become a Werewolf. He has white fur... so I kinda wanted to pick Pack Leader for the white furred wolfie... but that's only for groups? I solo play... I don't even have a guild on my many characters. Would it matter too much if I picked it anyway? I'm PvE, so PvP isn't an issue here.

If you pick pack leader you still benefit from the added time in form because you are a also considered an alliance even alone

Yeah I think its a cool idea to go with Pack Leader for the white fur since your khajiit is white. Pack leader isn't all that bad, and if you're not doing PvP, then its also fine! You get 2 extra seconds of werewolf time when you perform heavy attacks as well. Also, if they ever do make berserker a different colour, you can always just reset your morphs

Go with pack leader for now, I think you'll enjoy it!

I find the Pack Leader morph to be more useful, PvE and PvP. The couple of times I've switched to Berserker, I've switched back within a couple of days. The DoT is stronger, but can't stack with itself. I also feel like the extra time the Pack Leader morph grants me allows me to play more calmly. I can stay transformed for as long as I want with Pack Leader, without worrying about devouring. It let's me play less aggressive and be more careful, whereas when I'm a Berseker, I'm thinking "Time is running, gotta kill, gotta kill, gotta eat, gotta kill." As a Pack Leader it's more like "Ok, heal to buff up, Leap to regen time, Roar to fear, Light Attack to apply DoT, Howl, medium attack to regen more time, Howl" and then I just repeat the last two steps until they're dead. Occasionally I reapply the DoT but usually it isn't necessary.

Also, keep in mind that all you need to do to regain time in a medium attack, which only requires a charge of about 1/3 a second. The animation looks like a light attack, but deals more damage and you get back time. Super useful.

Awesome. Thanks for the very helpful posts everyone. Has cemented the Pack Leader choice for me.

Now just need to get leveling the Werewolf skill line. Haha.

berserker gets easier to play based on how leveled the WW skill line is.

The WW gap closer, Feral Pounce, adds 4 seconds to the timer at max rank.

Got Werewolf to rank 10. Happy with my choice of Pack Leader, the transformation looks great with the white fur of my Khajiit into the wolf. XD And I find I can really kick ass in Werewolf form; great for questing which is what I prefer.

Originally I was thinking of making my Bosmer a WW, but realized that magicka based wolfies aren't great; so it went to my Khajiit... now I'm very happy witht that choice. lol XD But I think a Bosmer werewolf would be awesome too.

pack leader is by far the better morph..

berserker would be great if you had a pack leader buddy alwasys with you but only in that context.

Either way is great to be in a pack of werewolves.

Don't forget on the passive everyone just miss when you transform into a werewolf other werewolf allies get increase in time.

By the way does anyone know how far it goes I can't tell much cause I don't see much werewolves that I can give more time or I have such high ultimate on it cause I'm Dk.
