Stamina NB Gear Advice

After switching from V1 5x Night's Silence and 2x Ashen Grip (all green with 3x divine & 4x reinforced) to V2 5x Hunding's and 2x Night Mother's (all blue with 5x divine, 1x impenetrable & 1x infused) my base stats have changed as per the below:

Max health: 10861 (-861)
Max stamina: 20095 (+73)
Stamina recovery: 1255 (-123)
Weapon damage: 1256 (+114)
Weapon critical: 52.7% (+8%)
Physical resistance: 8245 (-98)

Is this trade off really worth it?

With all the same enchantments? What's your mundus stone? Same jewelry?

I didn't find it worth it to change out gear every level. Through my leveling of veteran ranks I only made new gear 4 times (will be 5 once I get enough mats for VR16 gear).

If you can do 6 traits in your preferred weapon, you may want to go make some Night Mother weapons to get that 3rd (and if you dual wield, 4th) set bonus. I'm running 5 Hunding's Rage and 4 Night Mother, and 3 Night Mother (bow) on my back bar.

Also, if you're trying to fill the roll of DD, then I'd say your stats have improved, just not significantly.

Yeah, the only thing I changed was the armour but still put the exact same glyphs on them. I've been using the Thief to increase crit chance (although I switched it to Shadow to see how that would do but it dropped my crit to ~35%).

Yeah I'm going to get my 3rd (on both Bow and 2H) on NM when I get the chance but then that should only boost my damage up by 121.

    Sorry, what's DD?

DD damage dealer same as DPS damage per second

Why have you not included weapons by the way?

PvP or PvE? What weapons do you use?

@Brrrofski because the weapons stayed the same (both basic rare 2h and bow with precise) so they shouldn't factor in to the changes shown in the OP

Which weapons though? Adding them as part of a set would give you more.

You only have two ashen grip. Making the sword and bow ashen grip would add weapon damage.

5 hunding's and 3 ashen is the way to for 2h and bow until end game.

You should be able to run 5 hundings rage, 3 ashen grip, and weapon dmg glyphs on your robust jewlery. If you don't have the undaunted passive then run 7 medium otherwise 5/1/1. PvE run all divines and in PvP 5 impen / 2 divines. Sharpened weapons for PvP and precise for PvE.

Sorry yeah.. To be used in PvP (although stats shown or out of PvP and without buffs) and only rare V1 2H & bow at the moment (I'll get NM's set pieces of them soon).

Although, the query wasn't so much about general gear advice - it was more along the lines of that i'm surprised that the below changes haven't made a general significant improvement (IMnoobyO) in my stats and whether I'd just be best off using the equivalent version of my original gear:
    1. Going up a level,
    2. Supposedly getting better sets, and
    3. Improving the gear quality (green to blue)

If you can only do rare gear then at least make your weapons purple with a disease or weapon power glyph on them. I would run a warrior or serpent Mundus stone then.

Basic rare V1 2h & Bow but I will be incorporating these in to a set (whichever I settle on) shortly.

I previously had two Ashen, now I have two Night Mother's. I switched because I believed the 1% Weapon Critical would be more beneficial to an increase in Max Health.

So you're saying that Max Health and Weapon Damage is preferable for a NB over Weapon Crit and Weapon Damage?

No I can do purple gear, I just left it at blue for the time-being for the closest comparison between the 2 sets (would've left it at green for a better one but someone made the set for me and changed 4 pieces to blue so I did the other 3).

The issue I have with changing Mundus (currently running Shadow) and reducing the number of Divine traits is that my Crit % drops to ~35%. I read that it's important for PvP to have this at 50-60% and when I did previously increase it to around this level from ~25% (changing from Thief to Shadow and using Precise weapons), I noticed a drastic improvement in my output.

Yeh, because the health translates to stamina.

You can enchant less things in health, more in stam.

So I do think ashen is superior. Hunding's gives you two lots of crit as is.

Crit isn't all that in pvp...

Any form of shield doesn't crit. So it negates a lot of your stats. That's why I like going with straight up weapon damage personally.
