These are two of the sets provided for every template character. Nearly everyone on PTS has tried testing Clever Alchemist and Molag Kena, quite a few with alchemy glyphs, Argonian race and others. ...really, if you want to use the alchemist set just freaking do 5/5 med alchemist, 1 molag kena, 2 * hat and bow* night silence for max stamina, full agility with wep dmg, and snipe someone from stealth after rally / potion. simple. IF you want to do a magic build, you just go with torug's instead of night silence and then do a : lotus fan, weaved light attack, soul harvest , after a major sorcery pot.
There. is it hard? No.

Correct - my Stam NB is still one shotting using my pre 1.6 build (All V14 gear), given the CP changes in the new patch I'll probably have to look at new gear to push his burst higher but yeah, magic/stamina doesn't matter - where there's a will there's a way.
The only way you'll be able to remove one shots from the game is to put a hard cap on burst damage....NA PC | AD

✭✭So, a (very) situational, very easy to counter with the coming meta (hello inner/radiant lights), with no sustain whatsoever that deals 20k damage to an unbuffed (and even debuffed) dude in light armor sitting there, supposing you proc Kena and Empower, AND if you got your ulti up.

Well I agree with you on one point @FENGRUSH , ZoS needs to show more creativity in PvP mechanics and stop nerfing classes because a few streamers get pissed off. How often have you encountered the situation in the video you posted?
Even after the BoL change I don't believe it will change the scenario in the video you posted. If you have a group of healers with builds DESIGNED to max heals and regen they will be able to spam heal one player getting blown up by a few players. Isn't that a valid strategy? Isnt defense in PvP a strategy? You had X amount of healers resources devoted to keeping that one player alive. Also, who says what is right and what a valid strategy is? Does proper WB spam make a PvP player skilled? What is next from the streamers? Probably complaints about hardened ward? I do get the situation with healing, it needs to be within reason. But when does it reach that level?
Also, I'm not sure I call focusing on that one character as "skilled", that's another conversation.
Anyway, I'm tired of classes getting nerfed in PvE due to PvP complaints. Especially when you have developers that can't give said nerfed class any interesting new skills or mechanics to replace the nerf. I wanted STA Sorc buffs in this cycle of class balance and I wanted to see some creative rework of useless Templar skills. What ended up happening? NOTHING for sta sorc and a nerf for healing Templar. So yeah, it's been a crappy class balance for me. Thankfully I'm nearly done max leveling my Magicka NB which I enjoy and my Magicka DK which bores me to death right now.

She wasn't actually healing herself very much, CC'd too much to heal. The negate needed to be dropped on the other healers....NA PC | AD

They did not nerf healing because of what streamers are saying. ZOS even came to our last podcast to inform us they didnt listen the last 4 because they dont respect our attitude. BOL is intended to be a choice-situational heal, not a skill that is flooded at a certain time when any possible danger may be occuring. That is how its been used, and its able to be used like that because of endless resources. Is PVP a valid defense? Yes it is - its especially more valid when every person partaking in that strategy is required to use their character in conjunction with mechanics other than being flooded by heals blindly. Champion system is the real culprit here. If you churn through your mana pouring out BOLs in that window, you should find yourself in a bad situation shortly thereafter. Doesnt happen. Game has allowed insane resources, like I described. I dont know how else I can draw this up, but this is the reality of the situation. Yea guys, keep her pinned in that corner, Im going to run up on the roof and negate the guys who dont need to stay in any one place and can run around with rapids popping BOL.
Negate has been thrashed so badly - its good during a burst window. Theres no way we are bursting that group down at any point. Thatll be different in the new patch though with changes to prox det.0 -

But in all seriousness, I do agree with you the Champion system being the culprit. I tend to disagree with 99.9% of what you say about templar heals except this.
Personally, I think the game would have been better if, instead of nerfing the quantity of BoL they nerfed the amount it healed. The idea being, for templars to maintain their current healing BoL power, they'd need to put all their points into Blessed (cp for increase healing) lowering their DPS potential. If you so choose that you want that raw damage, then its at a sacrifice of Blessed and being able to heal as per Live.
I disagree with the argument that Templar's shouldn't be able to heal as much as they can now, they should be entitled to that. But, as a manner of balance, that should come at the cost of not being able to output any real damage....Edited by SirDopey on February 11, 2016 3:05AMNA PC | AD

The problem is that mage light brings a lot of benefits to magica builds and almost no benefits to a stamina build....
I'm afraid that in the next patch PVP will be totally magica dominated and all will have this shiny orb around them.

✭✭✭✭✭So you have to give up 2 weapon enchants that could give you a permanent 360 spell power in order to have 638 spell power 50% of the time. And you need to chug potions in order to get the buff which could lead to situations where you don't get to use a potion when you need it?

hmmm good point, does using magelight pull you of stealth on the PTS? If it doesn't that empower buff is going to make it very easy for Stam NBs to one shot...NA PC | AD
