Just saw this, I honestly don't believe it. Why would they get rid of cloak????

✭What did you just see? They are not removing Dark Cloak AFAIK... it has been changed so that it no longer removes DoTs, it just supresses them. It will also be easier to keep a Nightblade out of cloak with Radiant Magelight.
I think most Nightblades will still use Shadow Cloak, but will probably opt for Shadowy Disguise morph rather than Dark Cloak after the Thieves Guild release.
I am interested to hear from any players that have tried Cloak on the PTS & their feelings on the change?NA Server [PC] -- Mostly Ebonheart Pact, Mostly.3 -

NO!Sorcs have their 10 different shields that all stack, Templars have (had - BoL nerf) good healing, Dragonknights have... whatever Dragonknights have, and Nightblades had cloak. Now, Nightblades have nothing

DK: selfheal (even if its bad in pvp) shield (same) and armor buff
sorc: shield (OP in every aspect) armor buff
templar: heal (OP), shield (average shield, very good for some builds, even in pvp) rune (more magic resistance)
NB: selfheal (öhm, nope, swallow is *** as selheal) shield (nb got this awesome shild called...) amror buff (wait, have to use a shadow ability for that, doesnt last very long, so alot more expensive than any armor buff of every other class)
what nb got is a cloak, a cloak that:- gets uncloaked by any aoe
- gets uncloaked by any gap closer
- gets uncloaked by certain single target abilities
- can be countered by potions, mage light and so on
- will get negated by mage light
- got a purge nerf
im still waiting for any potion or skills that completly negates any shield or armor buff other classes have :>17 -

they just need to alter piercing mark:
atm you see nb in stealth with it, and armor reduction: they should change it so that once marked you can hit through shields, and give healing debuff too3 -

well they are not removing cloak. the removal of the cleanse is quite fair though. although people will still QQ about NB in TG patch because the core of the problem people have isn't the cloak itself. mass hysteria and ambush are way more broken0
