When you block someone is it a one sided ignore?

What I mean by that is if I block someone then use zone chat will they see my zone messages? Or is it blocking both me seeing their messages and them from seeing mine as well?

It is still dumb that you can only block 100 people before your list is full and you need to remove some to ignore more. Please change this...

I would assume that they could still see your messages from zone chat. But I don't know for sure, not able to test it.

I am not sure but traditionally it is one-sided in MMOs - you can elect to not see the message of a person, but that does not mean that this person would have to be forced to ignore you as well. Freedom of choice on both sides, that is how it is in most MMOs.

You opinion is valid, I just put people on ignore for good and dont want to take them off to put more on and I also dont want what I say to be seen by them because they use that to ruin sales I am trying to make and to mess up conversations I have with others. If they couldnt see what I say and I couldnt see what they say it would be a true ignore feature and the gap text does not bother me as I dont care what they say anyways.

Im just tired of them seeing me selling or buying things and spamming zone that I am scamming or paying too little or something and ruining opportunities to make gold. ( I know they are because I will be saying I am selling a motif or something worth 100k and then people will pm me asking why I think its worth 200k, as if theya re spamming that in zone etc...)

Zos needs to learn how to make a ignore system work if they cap the ignore list and make it one sided allowing for more annoyance from fools....

Well zone chat is not a trading channel in the first place. You abuse it for trading, so you should not complain when people hinder you abusing it.

Edit: I think there is a 1 in 3 chance now, that I will be ignored

ignore only blocks whispers as far as I know.

You can see them in /zone and /group and /raid.

It's also one sided, as I've learned from the plethora of "goons" that ignore me then whisper me with insults. That's a special collection of "toughguys" if I've ever seen one.

To answer your original question: yes it is one sided. People in my guild have tested it themselves.

Now, I really don't see what the problem is. A two-sided ignore causes more issues than it solves. If you feel that people are griefing you, you can report them, y'know. Just be sure you actually have evidence of wrongdoing. If you're not willing to report, you have no right to complain about a feature that is working exactly as intended.

It really sounds like you want to hide from people who have the ability/nerve to call you out. If you were doing nothing wrong, there is no need to hide. Stand and face them instead. An observer will make their own decision, as is their right.

I dont believe they would hinder the profits or potential profits to fix a griefing issue. I also dont think they are in a place that punishing the low population would be a positive step either. It also is nothing I need to stand up to as I have no need to prove myself and have used the internet long enough to know that arguing on it is pointless. If I ignore them and it actually did something more then what it currently did then it would skip the pointless step of "arguing" or "proving" one self on the internet lol.. sounds dumb even writing that.

I told him not to rip off people like that and he just ignored me lol no wonder his ignore list full ahahaha so funny.

Offering slightly below market value, scratch that asking for 0.00000001% of market value should not hit you so personally to a extent you say "its the root of all evil". Not only is it just a game, its just a barter in which you can say no to. Simple really.

Yea I am in a big one and I have top sales in it a lot of the time so hopefully that will garner some trust and get me some more ap sales. Its nice to know that some people understand that AP is not 2:1 ratio... Thumbs up to you sir.
