How about a black market?

The whole guild trader setup is horrible. It is all over the place and I would rather just log out of the game then go all over the place just to look for something. It wastes my time when I would rather be just playing the game. There is enough time sinks as is. So with the new thieves DLC coming out I was thinking that just remove the guild trader in the thieves den and place a black market there. Anyone can access the black market do searches and purchase but to actually put anything up for sell you have to purchase the DLC or be a ESO plus member. You would also have to unlock the black market will skill points. It would work like the fence but to get your first 50 slots you would have to unlock it with a skill point and add more slots as you level up investing skill points. I know some of you love the current system but for me its horrible. I figure this would be a good compromise and it stays within the spirit of the thieves guild. Just an idea for those of us who hate bargain shopping or going to the mall.

The current system is incredible atrocious especially because of its awful search engine. The problem with a black market though is that it would force people to compete over item prices. Many rare items are pretty abundant and this would nuke those to cheap trinkets making gold become meaningless.

Black Market ...well you know not set in stone but adding say 20 vendor kiosk in a open Area might seem more thieves guildish?? an therse no harm no foul, Id suggest they do this...

I mostly agree, at least that it's a sound idea point. I also don't really like mechanics that promote joining guilds for the in-game 'benefits' it provides. Rather than primarily about community.

Basically - too many people join guilds for the traders..

Love this game, overall. It does really need work with its MMO aspects, though (imo).

If you're after something I'm particular just ask anyone in a guild who can edit motd to ask for it for you. Mine does it all the time. Even for WW bites being offered out.
