    We might aswell have throwing weapons from Morrowind if were going that route. Unarmed combat, spears, and flails aswell please.

    Quarterstaff is cool aswell but what is the difference between a morning star and a flail? I know what a quarter staff is infact its my favorite weapon ithe game Chivalry.

    I too want to see spears/polearms. They already have them in game if you go to the Fighters Guild in Skywatch. There's some npc's practicing outside with them.

    Also wouldn't mind seeing some kind of whip. But I suppose that would be a bit more difficult to animate.

    Probably would be animated like Simon Belmonts in the original Castlevania if they wanna go a lazy route just in 3D. But were also asking for Flails and Morning Stars were already at hard to animate weapons.

    I like this idea, we need more weapon types and also well designed to combine better with the different builds magicka and stamina and classes.

    Scythes look ridiculously cool, but really are impractical weapons. =P Most scythes in game tend to be more polearm than actual Scythe.

    In some games they are used as staves... usually with necromancer class.

    flairs , polearms , scythes , fist-type weapons , throwing weapons (daggers , stars , glaives etc) , cross-bows , middle-age guns , new staff types (earth , wind , energy(light) , chaos etc.) , nunchacus , whips ...

    list is bigg , but what weapons actually matches to eso style

    id like one hand sword mix with destruction off hand. Or one hand with restoration off hand. normal swing would be sword, heavy swing would be the spell. Than the skill lines would give some better battle magic builds

    Let's add them up... the things I would love to see added to ESO:

    More options for existing weapon lines:

    -Crossbows (added to bow, maybe rename that one "marksmanship" or something; bonus armor penetration but maybe some recharge time?)

    -Slings (added to "marksmanship", lower initial damage then bows of crossbows, but some special effect, disorient maybe?)

    -Flails (added to 1H and 2H, penalty to blocking, but slower attack speed?)

    -Spell Foci (added to destruction and restoration magic, depending on racial style, things like holy symbols, ornate spellbooks, gemmed skulls, meditation crystals, gilded scepters, shaman rattles, etc.)

    -Wands/Runestones (added to destruction magic, allowing dual-wielding, casting destro spells alternating mainhand/offhand at reduced damage to make up for the additional set/trait slot; also used in 1H&Magic -see below-)


    New weapon lines:

    -Polearms (halberds, spetums, pikes, glaives, etc. as mentioned before)

    -One-handed and Ranged (offhand javelins, throwing axes, shuriken, chakrams, throwing knives, whatever - like those javelin-throwers in wrothgar)

    -Brawling (punch daggers, brass knuckles, cesti; doing much less damage then "proper weapons" but having lots of CC optins through wrestling moves that would work against armored opponents)

    -One-handed and Magic (offhand wand/runestone, mix of elementally charged melee strikes and magical mid-range and AoE attacks)

    The witch kings mace would be pretty damn epic. Slow cast time though iirc. It does have build in shield breaker too.

    Honestly I kind of wish that weapons were just cosmetic for the most part. Who hasn't wanted to bop someone off the head with their staves or shoot lightning from their swords? The only one it would be kind of weird with is bows, that's one projectile I couldn't imagine being easy to come out of a mace or whatever.
