Seriously is a couple of weeks that i have an issue with the audio in game , no music , no sound , no nothing i know for sure that is something in my PC but i don't know where to check , it is an issue way to general for the CS and i wanted to ask someone here in the main plaza.
Any help?

NB This is something that have only with the games other sources of audio (Music, Netflix , Youtube) works.

Try repairing the game install and defragging/optimising your hard disc, sound files take up a huge chunk of HDD space, and are always fragmented.

Was gonna say to update your sound drivers but you sound good with the other stuff.

I don't believe is something "ESO related" since all the games i have are now without audio

Uninstall your sound drivers and redownload fresh ones, sounds like its corrupted, if its not just ESO related, its either that or its hardware related.

You get audio anywhere else, youtube or other games/applications?

Maybe the USB port is faulty that your headset is plugged in, assuming its a headset and not onboard audio.

Yep anywhere else.. i've reinstalled even the nvidia audo on-board driver to confirm this.

Usually when i play i use headphones (analogical jack ), that if i'm not wrong gets the audio output directly from the motherboard. but if i disconnect the headphones the audio comes from the graphic card connected to the TV; in both cases everything works except the in-game sounds and music, maybe is something windows related?

Have you tried re-installing DirectX?

Ahhh aye I hear you, yeah I used to use analogue jacks way back when, but USB ones are way better IMO, especially my beloved Logitche G35 that has its own onboard sound, way better than mobo onboard audio IMO.

And yeah you are right, onboard audio powers the analogue headphones, sounds like your headphones may be faulty, since the TV is picking audio up.

Try repairing the game install matey just to take it out of the equation, Windows has periodically had issues with sound since way back when, hence why I never use onboard, too much trouble lol.

Or failing that try a system restore to a good point where your rig was stable and all worked, and try reinstalling the sound drivers again, that will emphasise if it is software or hardware related.

You may want to check to see if the default sound driver is set correctly. (In Win 7) go to Control Panel -> Sound, select the audio device you want the sound coming from and click "Set Default".

This may not help (the correct device may already be set) but I've often had the situation where (for example) my browser is playing through my computer speakers whereas a game is still playing via my headphones. Another way to check this is to look at your volume control in the task tray - if you click on it and there's more than one volume bar, then it means you have more than one audio output "active".
