Dark Brotherhood Arena Concept

So I had an Idea for the Dark Brotherhood DLC and am curious what other people think or if someone else has had the same thought. What if ZoS implemented Arenas and held Season ELO Rankings with the top 2% being rewarded Dark Brotherhood Titles and Costumes each season. It could be something along the lines of maelstrom except the Brotherhood tests initiates by pitting them against each other in order to prove themselves to the night mother. I recommend 2v2 3v3 and 5v5 to start with a Tournament to end each season consisting of the top 2% from each division from each platform streamed on Twitch or Whatever. Thoughts?

I love it. Don't forget the 1v1 duels, though.

The only reason I can think of why they haven't introduced dueling to the game yet is that they don't consider the 8 classes balanced enough to add dueling as an integral part of the game.

No matter how well they balance classes there will be:
    dueling master class(es)
    dueling master gear set(s)

If a player doesn't have both of them then he has nothing to do in arenas...at least in 1v1 arenas.

But once they remove VR ranks then re-rolling an Arena champion will be easier.

I don't believe there is a way to balance classes now....the class design was a mistake from the beginning...who's idea was to add classes to ESO????? there was no such thing in TES lore!!

I cant forsee 1v1 ever being competitive because class imbalance will always be an issue 2v2+ introduces counterable varieties I think most big mmo players and game designers learned this from Wow.

They can do 1v1 by class for example sorc vs sorc that give somewhat balance level field

i played wow during witch king, year 6. At that time paladins could kill me (a druid) without getting hurt. We were same level with approximate the same gear. Paladins back then i usually saw being able to not only to take on 2 vs 1 but succeeding. I played a paladin as well during that time and won against people grossly ahead of me.

so even wow at year 6 with all of its money cant balance. Balancing isnt something that can be perfected some classes will be better, some builds will be better. It makes me giggle when people are mad that their sorc stamina build isnt as strong as a magic build. What is a sorc? I play a stamina sorc too, but its obvious magic would be stronger for a class that has everthing to do with *** magic! I dont care either. I play what is fun for me. Who cares if your dps lower, just have some fun. Im a stam sorc tank and have never felt i coulnt do content. Maybe i do it a bit worst but i can still get through it just fine.

wow at year 8 from what i remember it was warriors that were op. ESO is only at year 2. And the balance is better than wow had at year 8. I also played as a druid because it was fun even though it was weak-mid of classes unless you knew how to play them.

Yeah class 1v1 is a system I could get on board with but in terms of tourneys I think I'd rather see teams. It just adds a complexity to the system that 1v1 doesn't offer
