Few questions about a specific build.
Hey all!
Not played the game since June, and back then i only played very little so starting from scratch.
Im wanting to create a Breton Templar that uses one handed + sheild/bow with light armour. Whilst i will be using both offensive and defensive magic equally, i want to excell in ranged and close combat with my magic as a kind of backup to support me on my adventure. If that makes sense?
I am fearful the light armour for the Breton looks too mage like which i dont want, is this the case or is there an alternative to my appearance? Im not keen on using heavy or medium as they are too cumbersome, i want to be agile as opposed to a lump.
And finally, whilst i know the customisation is endless, would the above build work out?

Atomsk27✭✭Bretons have passives for magicka so those could help you with your support magic skills, but those wouldn't help with the 1h shield/bow skills. You would need to put most points in stamina to be able to reliably use the stamina skills from those weapon skill lines. So choosing a race that has stamina based passives would help.
Light armor also has magicka passives. Weight of the armor types doesnt change how agile your character is, the passives do. If you want speed and to be able to roll dodge you would want medium armor. It has stamina recovery, sprint, and roll dodge passives. If you're worried about wearing a robe you can create shirts instead of robes. There are also costumes and disguises that replace the look of your armor.
For regular questing your build could work, but you would have trouble with the difficult content.
