Magicka Dk Tank: How do they do it?

So I'm currently running a magicka dk tank build for pvp but am finding no success with it at all unlike if I was running a stam dk. Dragons blood + igneous compared to vigor + igneous doesnt really keep me alive. Its like as soon as I get feared I'm dead in a few seconds I don't see how people can tank and survive a cc long enough playing magicka builds. I could be a terrible tank (strong possiblilty) or it could be my gear setup (another possibility) anyone with tips on tanking and gear etc. would be great. Thanks
Current setup: 5 piece seducer, 2 blood spawn all heavy and 3 willpower all arcane with 2 endurance s/b

ryanborror✭✭✭It will get better next patch. You should probably run a resto back bar or go back to Stam for time being. The problem is that dragon blood is a percentage based heal which in cyrodiil becomes half as viable or less considering higher health pool so you end up healing for 33% of missing health and then dying. Try healing ward or blessing of restoration. You have to be careful as a magic dk in pvp for the time being. Great things to come tho.dooderrr

MadNeedHelp✭✭✭I run 5 heavy Kags, 2 light head and shoulders for the light armor passives and mag recovery. Iam also running 30k Mag and 28k health. Keep in mind it's mostly a group build for now. Once the new update drops you should be fine(I hope). Oh and pick @LokoMatic 's brain if you have the chance. Other than oHulko he is one of the best Mag DK I have seen in console. Search the forums for Mag DK topics..and gl!XBOX ONE

RoamingRiverElk✭✭✭✭✭CP is one thing. I would still spec 100 CP in healing initiated, and about 8% worth in healing received. Then run 3 blocking cost reduction glyphs, probably run defensive stance, and some CP in block cost reduction, the rest in mitigation. But that's a 501 CP build.
30k HP, the rest in max stamina to get a proper return from igneous shield stamina return.
Potentates set for less ultimate cost.

✭I have a magicka DK tank who I pvp with now and then (I'm mostly in pve), and I keep a resto staff on my back bar for heals when in Cyrodiil. I'm only level 48 and I've been testing seducer and hist bark sets, with random jewellery at present because I'm broke. She's ok at staying alive, but can't kill much.
Green Dragon Blood isn't a good heal in pvp, I've been using CP to increase my self-healing to boost it but I still go to resto staff to heal myself a lot of the time. Unfortunately, as has been said, if I'm being attacked by multiple people swapping to that bar leads to a pretty quick death. Have not tried Vigor yet but I'm a bit worried about using up my precious stamina pool on that heal, I'd prefer GDB to actually heal me.PC NA & EU || Mammoth Guilds - Victory or Valhalla || Altmer sorcerer main

I second this. My main is a Magicka DK and I recently broke the 300 cp mark. I'm JUST starting to see a good increase over all and am more comfortable in fights. When I get to 360 I will probably switch them around for some 120 passive perks.0 -
