Did you forget to upgrade the Alliance War vendor containers?

Wrobel, seriously they're all still v14. If you forgot that's cool. You have a lot on your plate being in charge of all the skills and all the gear. Please fix it.

If it's not that you forgot, maybe you don't know how much those containers have meant to pvprs for the past two years. Up until last patch those containers gave AP meaning beyond rank... Those containers rewarded us with items we could use, or sell to make some gold.

For nearly two years those containers were at the top of the pvp reward structure. Without them AP is all but worthless.

I thought they specifically said that PvP sets and rewards (at least some of them, if not all) were going to scale to v16? Is this another 'No ETA' issue or did I hear wrong??

Ye, Wheeler is head designer of PvP(Alliance War stuff). Not sure why everyone is bashing Wrobel for something out of his department... Like how people blame the crown store additions and say they should be working on fixing bugs. Eh, people jump to conclusions sometimes.

Yeah Wheeler has siege and Cyrodiil gameplay. Wrobel is ALL itemization, and ALL skills.

From what I understand the main reason for this is basically because they want IC/Orsinium to be the income location for VR15/16 items.

However it really harms the innovation (or what's left of it in the damage stacking era we're in) of gear combination builds when you're limited to expansion only or crafted sets because others just don't scale.

But hey we've been complaining about this issue since launch, with sets that max out at level 28. So not going to hold out any hope on this really. The little hope I have is for it to come with VR removal.

The only reason we're so adamant is because they confirmed at least 6 of the sets were going to scale from the vendor bags. Yet they don't add it with this huge update, and they refuse to respond to such a simple question.

I think they realized that since they were removing vet ranks with Dark brotherhood.. it would be easier to not try and balance pvp bag sets for v16 for only one update/dlc...

I'd be okay with that if they simply communicated it. Lack of communication/transparency is ZOS #1 used skill it seems.

Step 1: Raise level cap before you're actually prepared to do so
Step 2: Spend the next 3 years bringing all the outdated systems in the game up to the new level cap.

Seems like a solid plan.

Trial gear is still V12/V14. Dungeon sets were V12 when the cap was V14 and are V14 with the cap at V16. I still pull plenty of V14 trash from V16 dungeons and even Cyrodiil has V14 mobs in a V16 world.

Dont fool yourself. Its all going with plan. Make old content less desireable and new content the opposite - ca-ching. Well at least thats what Z. thinks.
