From PTS patch notes; "Crystal Blast (Crystal Shard morph): Increased the secondary splash damage of this morph by 25%"
Dear @ZOS you have to admit no one is going to use that morph even if you increase the splash damage %100 no one is going to trade off their insta crystal fragments with reduced cost and increased damage buff. Im sure %99,9.
But instead %25 splash damage buff make this morph spammable ability reduce its damage %50 or whatever appropriate.

What if it was at the cost of all the range of the skill?
for example:
Crystal Slam
Cast Time: 1 seconds
Target: Enemy
Range: 5 meters
Cost: X Stamina
Conjure dark crystals into a fist to slam an enemy, dealing X Physical Damage and knocking them down for 2 seconds. Casting other weapon abilities has a 35% chance of causing your next Crystal Slam to be instant, doing 10% more damage, and costing 50% less Stamina.
New Effect: Ability now uses stamina and scales off weapon damage and is now melee ranged. Chance to make ability instant cast.
This would be an interesting, and a very sorc flavored melee skill. I lowered the added dmg vs C.Frags' 20% because I think Rally>Wrecking Blow>This might be a little too OP. In fact you could have it do slightly less damage than a hardcast like say 2-5% and it would still be a pretty great skill. What do you guys think?

given stamina already can hit 4k+ with 1.8k regen giving them more power on the rotation would be something needed only by doing the same to other classes. For instance;
-Elemental Ring auto stunning all enemies (and players) for 5 seconds on cast?
-prison(sorc) freezing a player for 10 seconds regardless of dmg taken?
-DK being able to reflect all objects for a length of time and not limited by number of hits?
-Cloaking(nb) allows you to remain at 100% crit chance for 10 seconds after leaving
We simply don't need more power invested into meta builds like this, if anything the morph needs to be changed to a simple stun/knockdown that can be blocked and cannot be insta-cast...which will then make it as useless as it is now because dps is all that counts. See the cyclic problem we're starting to get into?

I'd be interested in seeing Stamina Sorc morphs be based around Frost rather than Lightning. Maybe that passive Lightning execute could apply to frost as well.0 -
