Lag in Hew's Bane?

Ever since I got eso since it realesed I was able to play on ultra graphics with a solid 55-60 fps about 95% of the time, but it seems in Hew's Bane I get frame freezes and lag. Is it because Hew's bane is big city is too much for eso to handle on ultra for anyone or is it just me?

It's similar with Wrothgar but not as bad. Some can agrue that it's still in pts and will be fixed before it releases, but that's what people said about wrothgar back when it was on pts, no change. Anyone who is able to play on ultra graphics with very little proformence drop please tell me of its the same for you with Hew's and even wrothgar.

I still get problems walking around Orsinium. I don't really know what to do, I'm hoping that somehow, magically, the 64 bit client will solve it. But I expect we will see more issues with it. Who knows.

I think the PTS is less optimized as I have lag issues on PTS as well and can run Ultra on live.

If/when the upcoming DLC is even worse in performance than it is in Orsinium (just the city, not the whole zone Wrothgar), then I'll think about it twice if I'll buy it or not. Unfortunately, I can't test it, because reasons. It's a pita in Orsinium already, I don't want to continue like this in every next DLC, or even worse.

Sounds to me either you are getting lag caused by addons or your internet connection sucks wind. I have not noticed any lag at all ever except in Cyrodill.. and I run ESO on ultra settings with a GTX 960M ..i7 2.6ghz machine

Why am I one of the only ones who never gets lag? I mean I am happy about it,.but it seems odd.Everyone complains about it,in Wrothgar,now in Hew's Bane.But,I just dont have any.Well,maybe a stick here and there on occasion,but nothing that bothers my gameplay.

I'm sure hoping the 64 bit client helps. I absolutely despise Orsinium. Wrothgar zone performance is pretty bad, and Orsinium city is probably the worst game experience I've ever had. I get load screens just trying to run across the city on foot, no sprint, no horse, and no rapid maneuver, just plain jogging across the city. Orsinium is like a slide show with single digit FPS and lag spikes where the latency meter turns red. Every other zone that I've visited in the game doesn't have this issue. The only other places that I've not been to are the PVP areas. I've completed silver and gold and I'm v13. It's definitely issues with Wrothgar and Orsinium especially.

I also don't get why you can't walk more than a step or two in Wrothgar without seeing a dozen elks, squirrels, butterflies, or glow bugs. Is that really necessary? I can't imagine that doesn't have some impact on performance. Once I finish with Orsinium's quests, I'll never go back. It's a pile of dung performance wise. Orsinium makes me want to rage quit. I was trying my damnedest to get through the main quest this morning before the server maintenance. I was gathering my friends for the final 'event' in Orsinium. I couldn't get it finished before server maintenance due to the ridiculous number of LONG load screens, freezes, and single digit FPS episodes. I've also had to relog 3 times during the main Wrothgar quest line in order to get quest NPCs to appear. Was this not bug tested?! I finally got so angry with the lag fest and system warnings about impending maintenance that I alt-F4'd out of the game and gave up.

If Thieves Guild performs like Orsinium, they can keep it.

I do have lag every time I use the way shrines. Doesn't matter time of day, nor does it matter which zone. Serious ping rates (10,000). Of course with that the FPS goes to heck.
