We need more non-combat features

This game is focused purely on combat and farming (which requires combat) and the DLCs just add more of the same I think we need more than this.

My suggestions:

Gambling: Dice games like liars dice or card games with players or a practice NPC to learn the rules. The bets are always held constant and are more for fun than reward. A costume can be added if you win enough times.
Tamriel Triple Triad: Like the FF8 card game you buy cards from a vendor or get them for daily quests or won by beating players (going offline for more than 5 min counts as a defeat). They only come in random containers and can are stored in its own tab can be sold and traded. Pets, titles, ect can be added for having certain variety.
Horse racing: An arena with random obstacles and traps where you race your horses. All effects and abilities are disabled and everyone's stats will be uniform.if you fall off you loose.

What do you think? Any other ideas are more than welcome. @Cazzy @Gidorick

If they made it so Elder Scrolls Legends and ESO were linked somehow when it comes out I think I'd spend thousands of £ on any card packs they might release and I'm not even ashamed to say it.

This MIGHT not work because of the nature of the cards. It might get a bit too 4th wall breaking if the card game in ESO references The Elder Scrolls videogames.

I would prefer ZOS to develop their own card game based on the religions of Tamriel.

Horse racing was supposed to be added at some point... I don't think there's been a word on what happened to that.

Gambling for sure... So many games could be added for that!

I would personally like to see some sort of collectible dice game. I would love to carry a dice bag all around Tamriel.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Reminds me of when D&D came out with Three Dragon Ante. It was pretty cool.

Carnival with an old time shooting gallery, ring toss, haunted house etc. Could come and go to a random town. Would not break immersion IMO and would give players something in the non-combat area to do in their down time.

I am sure there could be many more suggestions that could be incorporated within the game without breaking the lore to badly.

We have had several such discussions before... and the answer is always "yes, please" from my side.
It would be great if every inn had, say, a random two out of a dozend possible "games". One to be placed against NPCs, one for PvP gaming. Dice games. Dancing Contests. Dart games. Arm Wrestling Contests. Card Games. Eating Contests. Whatever... just to make the game not only about dungeon crawling, but add a social gaming component!

I would also love to see more non-combat dailies... we have the crafting writs, but... we could have "gathering writs" (gather X of resource Y) and "messenger missions" (go to area on map, find NPC and deliver letter, repeat X times) and "fisherman writs" (catch X fish of type Y), and "prospecting writs" (go to area on map, find item, interact to mark on prospecting report, repeat X times) and "treasure hunter writs" (find X treasure chests in map area), and "bardic writs" (go and play music emote in bars X, Y, and Z, each on different map), and... and... there could be tons more things to do...
