No console text chat on Base game patch notes ???

Hello guys,

I know some people must be sick of reading about console text chat, but is there something I missed about devs saying they will be adding text chat consoles about a month ago and now I can't find anything related to the chat in the patch notes for the Thieves Guild DLC ?

Because it was the only thing that made me reconsider playing this game on consoles... I am kind of worried :(

So will there really be text chat on consoles on the release of the new DLC ?

    There are a few changes and I believe that text chat is included that will be implemented in Q2.

    Vet level removal
    Text chat

    Included in the Dark Brotherhood DLC. Of course nothing is in stone until we get the download.

    why should der be text chat patch notes on PTS?
    PTS is PC, and you dont have to add text chat there^^

    I hope they dont add Text Chat, I hate playing with people without Mics. This makes people to at lest have a damn mic.

    It is being added. This is in the works to be implemented in 2016 according to ZOS. More specifically I believe it was stated that is is in Q2.

    Thank you for the answer. Yet, it gives e a bad feeling that they delay it...

    Guess I,ll have to get used to it since we're talking about ZOS haha

    I wouldn't be surprised if it was even after dark brotherhood. My guess is fourth quarter

    It'll be her late December 2016, when they announce things you have to believe it will come out that late soo she it does come out in Q2 you wont be disappointed

    Actually they have not said when to expect it, only that its coming this year.
