Survey drop rates

Have I missed something where the drop rates of surveys have changed for crafting writs? I used to pretty much get one each writ but I haven't seen a blacksmith, clothier or woodworking one in an age.

Its RNG. I have not done equipment writs in quite a while. However just started doing a few here and there. I have seen a survey about 25% to 33% of the time recently. I get Alchemy and Enchanting writs at an even higher rate. However in times past when I was doing equipment writs, I was not getting survey's all that often for a period of time.
So, bottom line, RNG is a fickle mistress.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
