It's not dumb considering how strong of an ultimate it is. If it's not reflectable, then it should also be dodgeable. If this goes live then you can just hit someone with it, end of story. No getting out of it, only getting out of the DoT component. It's way too strong like this.

You can block it though... and reduce most of its damage done to you, unless of course you stand in Ice Comet's AOE
[edited for profanity bypass]Lord Warden: Increased the proc chance of this item set to a 50% chance when you take damage, from 6%.
What you really mean is GoodBye S&B sorcs.
That's actually a good thing. It offered little utility other than stance.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that probably the reason for non-reflectible meteor is to reduce server calculations and hence lag. We need to remember that Wheeler has given a lot of lip service to improving game performance in PvP and stated several times there would be things in the incremental patches to achieve it.

Lol if that's the case then he is making it worse. I was watching the fights at Chalman on PTS today and there were ice comets and Valykn Skoria procs everywhere. People started noticing lag there - imagine if that was on Live.

@Xeven
Well, while that might hold some weight you could also pump your hardened ward a bit higher on a S&B build. But, I don't think it's ever a good thing to kill build diversity. I don't want to play another homogenized MMO.
Welcome back BTW, haven't seen you around in a bit.

@Makkir
I guess what I meant to say is that it was a good thing for me. I ran S&B on my back bar with stance so that I could use meteor effectively as my main ultimate. I don't have to do that anymore so that is one thing I am happy with. I would love to see more build diversity but unfortunately I did not see any new Thieves Guild gear that would be extremely useful to a magicka sorcerer.
Thanks. Glad to be back

Why would anyone use it then?

PLEASE no more PvE nerfs just because of PvP
Try calling down a meteor IRL. How does one do that? Do you just whistle at it?

My [snip] moment was when I saw this:Lord Warden: Increased the proc chance of this item set to a 50% chance when you take damage, from 6%.

Well they could make that cost only happen in cyridill, but in pve zones it would be its normal cost.
