Other than Deltia recommends, as a healer I try to keep my group out of the center, going calmy together around the center with the guardian in circles. This way this boss is almost pain free and easy. The trouble begins if people in a PUG break out of this easy scheme to save time.

Stay behind it. When it's on fire mode heavy attack and walk behind it and you'll never get hit. Lightening just fry the adds and move away from it. Poison is bol spam and everyone nuke it. No WW or vamps as crap and weak and range is a must. You'll never melee it. If it comes towards you just dodge straight through it and get behind it.

I haven't read the link to Deltia's guide above, but basically everyone goes ranged and sticks together on crown walking around the outside. When adds are up, burn the adds down. On poison phase everyone stacks and the healer heals you through it while everyone burns the guardian. If your tank is able to swap to a ranged DPS setup before the fight and your healer can DPS when heals aren't needed, then you should be able to get through the fight really fast.

F*** ranged #YOLOMELEE all phases except for lightning phase where I have to break away and kill adds. I just dance around the flame with blade cloak. I have been doing it that way since before IC was released.

Me: It's[WB spamming DK] a really cheesy build
Guildy: I like cheese with my wine, and WB creates some really good wine.

If your team is having trouble mitigating damage, I suggest harness magicka for any magic based toons. It reduces the belly flame from 1 - 2 shot kills to something you can survive 3 - 4 hits from. The bombs become much less of a hassle and you can "heal" yourself through poison phase if necessary. Harness magicka can mitigate most of the things in that fight that might otherwise kill you.

The other advice in this thread is also spot on. Try to stay at range if possible. Stick together for easier heals and adds are a priority when they drop. If your dps is on the low side, save ultimates for the add phase to kill them faster and get back to the boss.
