Total Dark = Totally Sweet!

For small scale PVP Total Dark was always a good option. Now we can reflect ranged PHYSICAL! Nice!!

•Eclipse:
•This ability and the Total Dark morph can now reflect ranged physical projectiles back to the enemy, in addition to spell projectiles.

Can anyone else reflect ranged physical attacks?

p.s. Stop crying about BoL nerf, all PVP'ers knew it was coming. Thank you.

What the hell is a ranged melee attack?

If it's ranged then it's not melee, and if it's melee then it's not ranged...

Maybe its like when you swing a baseball bat and it slips out of your hand and launches at the pitcher. < Ranged Melee attack.

PTS notes state the below. It's only physical damage that's considered a "projectile" like arrows. So now we will be able to reflect arrows to the knee!

The thing that still fails for me for Eclispe/Total Dark is that an opponent can Break Free and get CC immunity so that you can't recast it for several seconds. If the target took 2.5-3x the damage Eclipse normally does when it ends for Breaking Free I would use it much more. Make the target play strategically, it's more fun and justifies the magicka cost.

You can cast it on players WITH the cc immunity.
A templar can have eclipse on someone 24/7 no matter what that person does.

It's not so sweet as it has flaws in pve mechanics.
Some physical attacks, like these when npc is throwing a "knife" after a sec delay (used by Renjira pirates Silent Mire in Deshaan) - total dark let it go. Or some npc archers - their light bow attacks are reflected, but not their cone aoe, which still pass and deal damage.

I started spamming Unstable Core at the destro ulti-trains. Every once in a while a group of 3 or more affected with UC get too close to each other and BOOM x 3 = 0 trainboys left. Finally I found a fun way to deal with them.
