I have a question; why bows in TESO fire only 45 meters (and a few more meters with Cyrodiil passive)?
I mean, I can throw a knife or football longer than that with my bare hand/arm.
Why, if I see an enemy 60, 70 or more meters away, I can't use the bow? It's a bow, so, if you "aim" to the sky (looking out of the corner of one eye), your arrow should travel longer.
If I'm not wrong, in medieval battles, archers shots were way more than 45 meters in distance.
Maybe add also a precise skill/trait for bows to be more accurate when shooting longer, but I understand bows should reach further targets.
Currently, it seems like if we are firing arrows with our hands to enemies what are just a few meters away from us.
Thanks in advance!

You can morph your bow skills. The best one is the passive, long shots. I van get someone from waaay far,and have them die before they can even get a shot off at me.

Sick of being hit by 8k snipes from people 55+m away.
Bow already out range other ranged weapons/abilities for 'reasons'/.
If anything snipe should have it's damage reduced or it's range reduced, hitting someone from 55+m away with a 8k skill shouldn't be possible.
If you want to do dmg safely from that far away you shouldn't be able to do the same dmg as someone who is on top on an enemy.

Hmmm... what's the skill name and the morph name? I understand 45 meters (without Cyro passive) is the longest shot.

The passive skill is called "Long Shots".It and the others below it are great for using your bow to it's best abilities. You just need to read your morphs when they become available. They'll let you know what the changes are.I prefer Poison shots, and Scatter Shots. They are very good skills to have.

I know that passive mate, I have it max'ed, and it changes nothing.
The longest bow shot in TESO is too short.
AT LEAST, make it that, when you are in Cyrodiil, on any inner or outer roof defending the keep, your bow fires longer distances.

As for the range, bow can already hit further than any other skill that I can think of off the top of my head. I would say the range is fine

I'm sorry, but the range it's not fine (in my opnion).
When you are on the roof of a keep (outer for example) and enemies put catapults and othere siege outside the keep, you can DO NOTHING with your bow. You hit them once, they notice and simply retreat a few steps back, and that's it, you are out of the battle unless you jump down and suicide in the middle of the zerg.
Archers on keeps roofs should be able to fire longer distances to repel enemies, not just standing there watching their bows skills "grayed out".

Wait so your expecting to be able to have a bigger range than siege?

We can agree to disagree. I respect your opinion, and you have a right to it. But here is mine...
Snipe hits as hard as Wrecking Blow, and has the best range in the game. The devs nerfed destro staff dmg because you "shouldn't be able to do as much damage from the safety of range as you can melee" (paraphrased). So, again, be glad SNipe wasn't nerfed.
And no, the archer range is sufficient. Increase it, and you will have to increase most other ranged skills. At that point, the game will then turn into a series of ranged battles. Too many players hide behind Snipe and other ranged skills as it is. Consider that due to the travel time of Snipe, you can get three to five shots off before the first hits...equating to insta death for many players as the several shots will impact at almost at the same time (lag means they all hit at the same time and you cannot react). Furthermore, skills like Destructive Reach and the Templar's Javalin can already be used to one-shot players by knocking them off of walls; increasing range would only lead to further use of such tactics.
Snipe can hit inner walls from many locations; it can't from others. Such is life. Sorry, but I see no issue here, and think it would be a REALLY bad idea.

You have very good points, I must accept that. Still, I never mentioned Snipe. So, what if a new skill is added, just called "Long Shot" for example, that fires longer and does less damage? Like a light attack for example.
I just think bows should fire longer from keeps, even if they do small damage.
