Yes. It does. Membership gave you several things. Some crowns, access to DLCs, and a 10% increase to XP. If you didn't want that, you should have bought some crowns and bought the DLCs individually.

sorry, it wasnt clear, I thought being a Sub meant I was paying for each and every DLC content..... but meh, game dying, every major guild looking at other MMO's.........

It was perfectly clear. Don't whine that you didn't bother reading. There are certainly plenty of problems currently in ESO but you not reading the terms is not one to *** about. Want to ***? Go on about lag, that's always good for a few pages.

You got crowns for every paid month. Those crowns can be used to pay for the DLC. You got to enjoy all DLC and now you can also buy them OR NOT, it's your choice.

You're choosing not to buy them and it's not zenimax's fault.

That's not even remotely close to anything ZOS has ever said about how the sub and DLC work. Since day one of the announcement of the B2P/optional sub model they've made it crystal clear that a sub gives you access to all of the DLC only while you maintain that sub. There have been tons and tons of discussions about it on the forums.

The fact that the sub gives you 1500 crowns per month means that you can sub for a month or two and try out the DLCs, and then use your subscription crowns to buy any that you think you'd like to own permanently.

I'm relatively new to the game, less than 2 months, and I play very little each day.

That said, I knew just by what was told to me in the crown store interface (launcher) that I would lose access to all the DLCs if and when I unsubbed. I instead am deciding to purchase the DLCs and forgo the sub. My decision is mostly due to being Canadian with a very high sub cost, so it makes more sense to just buy them.

If you didn't do any of the VERY minor research to find this out for yourself, I feel no sympathy for your loss.

What do you think they give you 1500 crowns for every month you sub for? You think by subscribing you pay for all contents AND have some free crowns? I think the game will actually be better off with less greedy people.

I have literally never heard of anyone not understanding the way it works until now. They had articles posted, when you subscribe it explains the terms of the subscription including the DLC, and there have been innumerable threads about it since TU launched.

Doesn't matter how long you sub for you, you're actually only renting the DLCs unless you outright buy them from the store, which is easy to do with your free crowns.
My advice to anyone, if you're enjoying the DLC and an ESO+ member, just buy it so it's yours forever if you ever decide to unsub.
I won't buy any of the PVE content (Orsinium, Thieves Guild, etc), but IC is well worth it.

Yep, if the main reason your subbed is to get access to the DLC expansions, your better off just buying those than subbing for them. It might be more money up front but then you have lifetime access (lifetime of the game) to the expansions.

That's the way I'll do them if I ever get to the point where I need to buy them. (I'm still barely anywhere in the main game.) But I avoid subscriptions anyway - I wouldn't have ever gotten to play this game if it still required a sub.

But thats your choice, well yeah basically you have to be subbed or buy the dlc to own them, like everyone else is saying.
So to the person that made this thread can't just unsub and be able to go to the dlc area. You should have stayed subbed.

I got free ceowns with purchase of game, I got crowns and in game benefits of subbing for a few months, bought dlc with said crowns, unsubbed, have been enjoying dlc content since

If you have subbed since beta, I don't believe you have spent all your crowns... unless you bought potions etc... which shame on you!

They might do it in the future as a marketing move. If they are happy with their current subbed player base why would they do it?

It is still quite a good deal to be subbed....for 15$ you get the in-game perks plus 15$ of crowns back to you account.

Subscribing is just renting the dlc's. Once you unsub you lose access. That's an incentive to subscribing friend.

Lol this kid, eso won't miss you. Even my friend who is special needs understands once he unsubs he won't get the dlc. How thick you must be to not understand it when it's been written out all this time, then continue to cry about it. Also o don't think I have heard 1 streamer complain about dlc access while subbed then no access when unsubbed. They just unsub when they have no use for those areas anymore.
