So I unsubbed cause last ESO Live was BS...no ETA,..... No ETA..... no ETA crap...

I have been a sub since BETA, so tonight I tried to zone into IC and it said I couldnt....

So either ESO doesnt give a F or they have shi tty communication and subs are supposed to spend crown store points for DLC?

what the BLEEP is going on?

    You subscribe for DLC.

    You are no longer subscriber.

    No DLC for you.

    If you subscribe, you get access to all DLC.

    If you don't subscribe, you have to purchase it with Crowns.

    Because you have unsubscribed, you no longer subscribe. This means that you no longer have access to the DLC, unless you have also bought it with Crowns.

    thats BS, what we were lead to believe as a sub is that we got all DLC. we didnt have to spend additional funds for DLC

    That's what you believed. I'm pretty sure most everybody else understands how subscribing and the DLC works.

    edit: Otherwise, you could just subscribe for one month and get access to ALL DLC, then unsub. Then there would be no need to subscribe anymore.

    Since Beta? And you never noticed or heard them say that a subscription gives you access to DLC's and that cancelling it will remove access?

    It was perfectly well explained that you lost access to DLC zones, but not access to items you received while going through the DLC.

    The reason why it can't work like this is because then everybody would sub for a month and get all the DLCs for much cheaper. No one would pay the full price for DLC.

    They made it clear how it worked here and here (and in many other places).

    It is on the first line of the second link.
    "ESO Plus offers members exclusive in-game bonuses, a recurring allotment of crowns and access to all DLC game packs for the duration of membership."
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    And yeah don't unsubb from your ISP...it is even worse than unsubbing from ESO...all are after our money these people unbelievable.....

    You didn't pay for DLC's! You paid for a subscription which gives you access to all the DLC's WHILE you're subscribed.

    You didn't pay for it. You rented it.

    For a full months rent pay, you get a full months rent of the DLC. It really is simple and fair.

    You didn't pay for DLC....
    You paid for ESO+ membership...
    ESO+ membership gives access to DLC....

    No membership - no access....

    It's like the gym membership....you use the tools but they are not yours...

    @Stinkur when you are subscribed, you are "VIP" and have access to everything. When you're unsub, you're no longer VIP so you can't get into there unless you purchase the pass to get back in.

    It's not that hard and they have said it over and over.

    You are NOT paying for DLC, you are paying for a special VIP monthly fee to gain access to DLC, XP boosts and so on for the duration of your payment.

    Plus with the amount of crowns you have gotten from ESO plus, you should have plenty left for both DLCs unless you spent it all on costumes and mounts.

    You paid for ESO+. You did not pay for the DLCs. You paid for full access to them while you subbed. Not a hard concept to get

    You can use the Crowns you got from subbing to pay for the DLC.

    If you used the Crowns to buy something else, you didn't pay for the DLC: You paid for these things you bought instead.

    Frankly, if this is how you react to something when the terms of use were spelled out very clearly, good riddance. One less sub will not destroy ZOS.

    But seriously can you stop with the hate thread because your basically read it wrong... since beta.

    Did you really think paying the small monthly sub price would get you access to all dlc which cost 5k crowns each~ ?

    Funny thing is you could of saved those 1.5k crowns a month and bought the dlc and pretty much enjoy the sub benefits for free.

    Sure, broken promises have been an issue with ZOS, but this is not one of them. Just because you convinced yourself that something works a certain way, doesn't mean ZOS promised it works that way.
