✭✭✭✭✭No idea, I get them so fast that I spend them in bunches of 2 or 3. It is more work to find the Champion Rank, and often I don't bother.

Imagine you find a $10 bill on the ground every day, just walking somewhere you would have gone anyway. A voice appears out of the sky and says, "You will only find $10 100 times. After that, it is only $5 on the ground." Do you slow down and stop collecting those $10 bills because you will be getting less in the future? No! $10 a day for 100 days and $5 a day for 100 days is $1500 over 200 days. If you slow play it and only pick up a $10 every other day, to expand the time you are getting top reward, you will earn $1000 over 200 days. You just gave up $500!
Now, maybe you really dislike earning XP/CP. Maybe hitting cap will be a relief because you can do low XP activities you enjoy more. Then I think your approach is fine. But if you are avoiding playing ESO when you really want to play it, or avoiding doing certain content you would enjoy for fear of earning XP, don't do that! I guess you are denying ZOS "charging" you double for a CP, but you are also denying yourself the fun of playing the game.1 -
