Because there is nothing to thank for right now. We got server down yesterday for 2 hours and all we got was "oh, yes, sorry DDOS attack, all cool". And today? Our "update" takes 2 hours longer than NA update and on top of that we cannot connect! -.-Magicka sorcerer from start until the end. Always. The same as yesterday - again. More than half of people from guild were not able to connect while few people did not have any issue. Because there is nothing to thank for right now. We got server down yesterday for 2 hours and all we got was "oh, yes, sorry DDOS attack, all cool". And today? Our "update" takes 2 hours longer than NA update and on top of that we cannot connect! -.-
If the eu server is not where they are updating from, then they'd have to do it remotely, which would take longer. The na server could be in their own building so it would update quicker. Doubt they chose to update the na server to annoy eu players.
As for errors after update, they could have experienced packet loss during remote update which could have corrupted minor files.
I understand its frustrating when the server is down for 6 hours or so... but hasn't it been online for 2-3months?
Go out and grab some lunch, or go watch a film, or go for a walk or summit.0 -

hehe, we do have a permanent ping above 200 now on EU. only way to get undet 200 if u are in a pve zone without any other players. remember that u are playing on a "MEGA SERVER" this server allows 15 people to play together whitout any lag
