NA PC/Mac maintenance – February 02, 12:00AM EST.. Seriously?

    This maintenance is so we can make some mandatory upgrades to the software in our datacenters, and does not include a game patch.

    So overload should be fine this time.

    Software Updates? I'm guessing the downtime has nothing to do with the game or server itself undergoing maintenance since the notes state there will be no patch or update at the conclusion of the maintenance. So I would assume it is something to do with an in office system that requires power to be cycled or another company coming in to work on systems unrelated to ESO.

    In other words, someone broke something and now yall gotta call someone to fix it. Midnight was the latest they could come. That explains the awkward "maintenance" and time for it to go down. I'm guessing servers went down 7 minutes late because the handyman was late to show up to cut the power?

    LOL. Long story short. Yall messed something in the office up and are hiding behind a maintenance story. Lol that's whatsup. I still love ya'll. ;)

    Started to get real annoyed that they were doing it at almost-prime time when I saw they're taking all the servers down.

    Could be worse guys. I'm in Australia servers went down at 4 pm here and if it is a lengthy down time I won't be able to play until about this time tomorrow. So it'll be almost 2 days without playing :disappointed:

    I'm on the West Coast of Australia and they are down just as I get home from work, bugger and all I have to read is the recent Lore for Thieves Guild.

    Uh Oh..... I know whats going on.

    "Surprise! We can't afford to give out the 1mil so we just shut our servers down indefinitely under the facade of "maintenance".

    Here the patch notes for the software update ^^

    MS-DOS 5.x
    Version 5.0 (Retail) – includes a full-screen editor. A number of bugs required re issue. First version to support 3.5 inch, 2.88 MB floppy drives and diskettes. Hard disk partitions greater than 32 MiB and up to a maximum size of 2 GiB no longer required SHARE.EXE to be loaded in order to access them. Support was now provided by the MS-DOS kernel
